Indeed there are few Q repeating but this is for almost all similar test models. Training is nice to get familiar with the real exam but the real one is much more complex, at least from the wording pov (it's an English test rather than technical knowledge test). With this test I was able to identify my weaknesses and clarify some things, so I was able to pass the real exam. Thank you for the help.

I enjoyed taking this practice exam course! The questions are well-structured, cover the CompTIA A+ objectives thoroughly, and serve as a great tool for reinforcing technical concepts and testing overall exam readiness. While working through the tests, I noticed a few minor answer key inconsistencies across a couple of items—specifically regarding RAM generations (Questions 17 and 82), power vs. storage troubleshooting (Question 21), cloud syncing prerequisites (Question 53), and OS virtual desktop support (Question 73). However, these minor issues didn't detract from the overall quality of the material. Reviewing these explanations actually encouraged me to dig deeper into the official exam objectives and verify the core concepts for myself. Overall, this is an excellent resource for anyone preparing for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam.

(Show more for edit after exam) Previous Rating: 3 stars. After Exam: 4.5 stars. Most questions are great, but a good chunk of questions throughout the mock exams contain content that was never discussed in the course and give very broad explanations for correct/incorrect answers. Overall just made me more confused and concerned for my exam tomorrow...toggling between 76-80% on the mocks so far. Not yet done studying. I love Andrew, he did amazing teaching me Net+ as I passed on my first attempt, but I am a little disappointed in this one. Praying that the real exam reflects his teachings better than these mock exams did. EDIT AFTER EXAM: Update -- Passed the exam with an 88.89% I did see multiple questions on the real exam that reflected questions in these mock exams. Overall, I think some of these questions on the mocks are meant to over-prepare you. Andrew's prep course + these mock exams did in fact prepare me very well! A few updates on the questions/answers are needed, but other than that, very helpful! I will absolutely be continuing chose Andrew's courses for future certifications. Thank you Andrew!

Some questions are poorly written and more than one answer is correct; e.g. "when setting up multiple servers to send and receive email, which protocol to use?" The multiple choice list from which to choose only one answer has both SMTP and POP3; the question is asking for sending AND receiving, SMTP is only to send emails, and POP3 is for receiving.

Lots of typos in the questions. Clearly little quality control here. Questions often repeat and/or are too easy to be reflective of actual test questions. Also, some questions are just inaccurate. Ie) 'What cable do RECENT iphones use' should be USB-C - but the 'correct' answer was marked as Lightning - despite iphones using the USB-C standard for the last 3 model years. I took AR's PMP course and found great utility in that - but this has been a disappointment.

I am 49 years old an recently retired from law enforcement. I wanted to pivot into the technology sector but had no idea how. After a lot of YouTube video searches, I found Andrew. Best thing that ever happened to me. Using his course, I studied for and pass my Security+, however, I could see that there were gaps in my knowledge so I decided to rely on TIA for my A+ and I was not disappointed. Andrew's experienced based lectures and visual examples really solidifies the concepts and ties everything together! I am excited to take, and definitely pass my A+ exam, and then move on to his IP Addressing and subnetting course before I take my Network+, of course using TIA! Learning has never been this engaging for me as a relative newbie to the technology world! I am going to gift my daughter his courses so that she can carve out a bright future in this booming industry.

Good overall. However some questions are outdated, some are suspect (there is never a situation that double-checking that something is plugged in as a first troubleshooting step should be marked as an incorrect answer), and a handful prove to be outright incorrect when checked with other sources (exFAT instead of FAT32 for Win and MacOS). Also, while there is usually some statement about why incorrect responses are incorrect, this discussion is still missing in many cases where this discussion would be very helpful.

some of these questions can be very misleading or not enough info given to answer correctly. "A user is experiencing slow app updates on their smartphone. Which action could potentially speed up the process?" what if there is no other wifi network? what if the device does have available software updates?? have encountered many questions like this that require more info to be properly answered

By Nathan Castle on 11/14/2024

great if this will be similar to the actual exams questions. I enjoyed going through each of these to practice what I would actually be seeing on the exam when I take it. These practice questions will appropriately prepare me for the actual exam. I don't know if I will have enough time being that I only have 90 minutes to take the exam or if I will run out of time when taking the exam.

By Michael Desormeaux on 1/25/2024

This man is amazing. He left the Core 1 and 2 exams for free if you bought any of his courses. Haven't taken the real exam yet, so I don't know how representative it is to the actual exam, but the questions definitely test your knowledge.
