CompTIA IT Fundamentals is a great certification to get when you start your career in IT. This course will cover all of the objectives to pass the current IT Fundamentals exam, FC0-U61. In this course, instructor Andrew Ramdayal will teach all the topics in a fun and interactive manner. This will provide many hands-on labs to show how the technology will work in real life.

This course will cover the following topics:

  1. IT Concepts and terminology. This includes learning basic IT terminology, such what is the difference between binary systems and decimals.

  2. Systems hardware management. Students will be shown all of the components needed to have a computer working.

  3. Networking management. This section will discuss all of the networking devices and how they function.

  4. Operating systems and applications management. This section will review commonly used tools and terminology will installing and supporting major operating systems such as Windows or MAC.

  5. Basic software development. Students will learn the difference between some of the most popular programming languages in the world and how to read basic codes.

  6. Basic database management. Students will learn what databases are, and how they are structured.

  7. Cybersecurity concepts. Students will the basics of IT security and how organizations stay protected on the internet.

I need some IT skills and knowledge to advance my career options and not just get stuck in only one profession. Better yet, security is an important thing in today's world therefore I must have some basic knowledge in IT.

I completed the course and comfortably passed my FC0-U71 Tech+ exam first time. Around 5-10% of questions in my exam didn't seem to be covered in the course content but nothing to jeopardise passing the exam. Andrew explained everything well and I would recommend this course if you want to complete your Tech+ exam.

The explanations are clear, I just dont know if this is 100% what I need to know for the exams. Aside from that Ive been building systems for nearly 20 years and never thought about some of the info. I just know what to do with it and not the entire names or thoughts behind it, which is always good to know.

He is very informative, and breaks down the information in a way that you can understand it. As someone who is just entering the IT world he has. Add me more comfortable in the information in ITF+. I can not wait to take his other courses before my actual classes begin. I feel like he gives an advantage with the descriptions, and the physical visuals to show you exactly what he is talking about. 10/10 !!!

Learning and preparing for my ITF+ exam with Andrew is very fun. I really like his method of teaching. He gets to the point and doesn't bore you with too much information, and his videos are very understandable for beginners. I would highly recommend this course to everyone else.

Although having taken various courses dedicated for comp TIA ITF courses in the Udemy, I was not confident to proceed to take the real exam. The course was great, I did notice there were a couple things on the ITF+ domain 1.2 that weren't covered such as char, strings, numbers, integers, and floats, but other than everything was taught in a very easy to understand way and I loved his teaching style.

This guy is the next up-coming CompTIA courses on Udemy, well disciplined and explains everything like a professor straight-to-the-point with examples digitally or physically with 802.11 LAN and WLAN. Taught me Mega and Kilo to bits conversions... this guy is the real deal
