I enrolled in this course expecting actionable frameworks and advanced strategies to improve my workplace and interpersonal communication. Instead, the material provided little beyond common-sense platitudes that can be found in a two-minute web search. A few specific issues that make this course impossible to recommend: Extremely Basic, Cliché Content: The lectures heavily rely on generic advice—such as "maintain good eye contact," "smile more," and "listen actively"—without diving into the nuances of how to apply these techniques in complex scenarios like salary negotiations, conflict resolution, or cross-functional team presentations. No Meaningful Exercises or Application: Communication is a practical skill that requires practice and simulation. This course offers no interactive case studies, guided roleplay scenarios, or realistic exercises. It consists almost entirely of the instructor reading bullet points directly from generic slide decks. Poor Production and Pacing: The audio quality is inconsistent, with noticeable background noise and uneven volume between modules. Additionally, many videos feel unedited and padded with repetitive filler statements to increase the total course run time.

I really enjoyed the communication course and learned a lot from it. There were many valuable takeaways, especially the importance of reflecting on conversations afterward to identify what went well and what can be improved.

The course is structured in a clear, practical way. The instructions are easy to follow, and the examples feel relevant to real conversations. This course is a great match for me because I’m intentionally strengthening my communication skills for both business and everyday interactions. I’m excited to keep going because I can already see how these tools will help me have more confident, effective conversations.

Very good course that addressed key points in improving communication skills. The pacing was good and the instructor went over points concisely but provided enough details to make them stick. He had the presentation style and delivery of a good communicator. As he discussed, you have to put this information into practice, so the real work is still ahead, but he provided good tips for moving forward, and I'm planning to start using these techniques immediately. The production value of the videos and audio was consistently high,

This course provided a lot of good knowledge and insights into communication skills and had a lot of opportunities to pause and take notes on the slides that were presented. The delivery was engaging and the intro/outro lessons helped me boost my confidence. The only thing that I feel was missing were opportunities to apply what I've learned or practice with other students. Although I can still apply these skills in my day-to-day life at any time, and refer back to this course if needed.

It is really awesome course , here I have learnt about basic rapport building technique , how to initiate any conversation and also how gracefully we can exit from any conversation. Good work Salil !

An amazing course to quickly get started in fixing few communication issues people have in their day to day life be it personal or professional. I liked Salil's various suggestions on conversation starters, confidence speaking and body language suggestions.I especially like the journaling part and reflect and improve part while doing the practice. There are few examples which were repeated in multiple sections, that time the student might get bored to listen the same again, apart from that I felt it a great lesson to attend.

I enjoyed the course, much of it I already knew such as the importance of body language and open ended questions, but the closing statements I found really useful and it wasn't something I had thought of doing before
