Enjoy the quicker pace he takes, while still getting tips/tricks across along with regular content. Easy to understand and I'm sure I'll refer to this course as a resource because will need repeated sessions to absorb all of this great info.

I am brand new to design/draw software, so it was a bit challenging to get started; however, I feel like the tools are here to help me understand the functionality of the program. I am really enjoying the course so far.

Easy to follow along with, and the pace was spot on. The only thing I would say in the critique, There were a good number of commands or functions that did not line up from the video to the new CD Graphics Suite. Overall, great course

Good pace and calm explanations with good content that’s easy to follow. Similar exercises in the beginning with only ‘small’ new things makes it so you get to repeat what you know and then ad to it rather than starting fresh each time. I definitely recommend it but don’t try everything in one go since it will feel repetitive.

I had some previous experience with CorelDraw about 8 years ago. This course brought to mind things I knew but had forgotten and also taught me many procedures I never knew. It was a real informative and I will definitely use everything taught here.

I've used CorelDraw for a few years, but I just purchased the 2018 version so I wanted to view an updated tutorial. Overall it's a good tutorial. Fast pace, but for the most part I was able to keep up with the tutorial and fill in the missing information not included in the video. Example: In the section on Contours, the three icons at the top of the Docker were not explained. If the wrong icon was selected by default, a beginner wouldn't know why they were getting the error message. The course is filled with shortcut key info. I really appreciated the fact that course was taught by an "English as a first language" instructor.

Newbie Learning a lot. Unless I missed what he said, the contour function missed a step that you need to convert to curves first before applying a contour. But learning a whole lot.

Having just purchased Corel Draw after years of using Adobe products, I needed a good basics course before trying some more intensive projects. Dan presents his projects clearly and I like working through a design in order to learn. I would have liked maybe one or two more projects or one that was a bit more indepth, but overall I liked this course and feel I now have the knowledge to begin using Corel Draw more effectively. Very good for people new to the software.

I found some of the material useful but it is obvious that coreldraw 2017 differs just enough from x8 to be aggravating or the instructor is using a highly modified, customized, set up making things he explains hard to do because the software dosen't do what it is for the instructor making it just an exercise in frustration.

Well the course was very informative and easy to follow. The problem arises when the short cut keys do not work on the computer as it does in the video. Particularly the "SHIFT/PAGE DOWN" to move and object to the back of layer. Not to mention the F keys not working as shown either.
