I really wanted to learn html and css for a long time but I just didn't have the time to sit down and just read through textbooks and play around with text editors when I initially wanted to learn this. But ever since udemy came along, these online based courses are so much fun. I especially like this course for its video based lectures and interactiveness, allowing you to pause the video and open up the file to try the exercises on your own before resuming the lecture to see whether you've done it correctly or not.

I have been trying different methods and using different sources on the topics of CSS and HTML. I have started reading many books and watched different tutorials only to leave them frustrated and unhappy with the progress. Simple and easy to follow. This would have had the extra star if it went further or provided some recommended topics to progress past this point. Maybe in the closing video you could give examples of topics to be discussed in the next course if you do one (you should!)

The course teaches the basics pretty well. A few minor issues are that the color scheme for Sublime does not exist in the latest version, which makes the course a bit out of date.
I would also like to see a more accurate reference on which exercises to open. Some of the labs are apparently not even used,
