Crash Course In Infographics with Easelly (Udemy.com)

This introductory course was really helpful to start understanding the basics of infographics. Although some of the course is kind of a marketing tactic for Easel.ly (showcasing how to use their tool), it was still really helpful to show how to build an infographic whether you use Easel.ly or not. And frankly, it showed how easy-to-use Easel.ly is and I may use it as I start to develop my infographic-building skills. The course is short, easy to follow, and full of exactly what someone who is just starting with infographics might need to get thinking on how to build them effectively. Can't wait to get started! I took off half a star in my rating, as I would have liked to have a simple exercise or quiz or two to help apply the concepts. But as an intro course, it's actually pretty good!

This is a good course on getting started with Infographics and especially how to get started with Easel.ly. If you are looking for a more in depth course on how to make quality inforgraphics you will need to look further, but that's ok for a free course.

Thank you so much for this course! I have an assignment due and I have never created this type of information sharing tool. I have so much more to learn but feel it was easy to understand and pleasant to watch! I will refer back to the materials provided in the downloadable materials often. Thanks Again!

I liked it, however I think itcould have more tips on how to build infographics nicely, such as color combination and other types of small tips in order to put together your graphic other than just using/copying example of the templates. Overall I recommend it!

The course is exactly what it says in the description - a clear and short course on the tools that Easelly has to offer for designing infographics. The video also offers an introduction about the context of infographics, a clear and positive presentation from Dinah Ramirez and informative supporting videos which are animated infographics themselves. 5 stars. A free course consisting of 35 minutes that I found well spent + the description of the course matches the course exactly.

O curso é muito dinâmico, perfeito para quem quer ter uma visão básica da construção de infográficos. Ele propõe o uso da ferramenta Easelly e apresenta informações mais detalhadas sobre a mesma, mas os conceitos se aplicam para outras ferramentas também. Achei muito interessante os checklists no final, muito esclarecedor! As legendas são muito boas, é tranquilo de acompanhar tendo um nível mediano de inglês.

This course is great! Teach and gives great tips to start with an infographic. So far, a little history won't hurt and made me realize infographics is embedded in our DNA. We have a natural passion to share information with photo, video, charts or graphics. With Easel.ly it helps us create something like a poster, presentation etc. in a less boring, straight on visual explanation like a master. There's no limit to what you can do with Easel.ly. It is easy and fun to use.

I was tinkering with Easelly before enlisting in this course. If only I knew of this course before, I would've saved a lot of time. This is a very well rounded course that guides you though the creation process of making infographics, you even learn about the history of infographics. The most important part of the course is the tutorial on how to use Easelly. Easelly is quite intuitive and easy to use, but there are some features that you easily miss (like how to flip an object or upload your own background) The only reason I'm giving this course a 4.5/5 is because there are some editing errors on the videos.
