The course is informative and the instructor also explained it smoothly but the video quality is not that good. It takes time in buffering. One thing I want to tell to use more real world problems and their solutions by using blockchain tech. There were hardly 3,4 examples in the whole course. Thank you ! Pradeep

Good intro course - could do with a bit more detail, but otherwise a good starting off point if someone has an interest in blockchain applications & development. And despite the fact that I would like to have seen a little more detail, I do like the fact that it doesn't overwhelm you, considering most who get this course are probably novices to the technology and its uses. So a little more detail, but not too much...

This was a good intro and I thought the instructor was clear and engaging, and likeable - he made the complexities sound simple through useful analogies. But I think it was also a little too basic with a no-brainer quiz that really didn't achieve anything. I could have done it knowing nothing about blockchain or this course. So while I like it, and I think it was a good intro, what I am left questioning is: was it worth the money I spent on it? It's maybe the type of thing I'd expect a well meaning person to do - and they do it - on youtube for free. Probably a teaser for his other courses which I'm sure do get increasingly more in depth an complex.

The understanding of the basic concepts is given in a perfectly lucid manner. Join to know what blockchain is, what a smart contract is and what the ecosystem is? For all practical app development, this is the first theoretical step.

I found this course was a good basic introduction to Blockchain. The instructor has a good presence and is rather engaging. His enthusiasm for Blockchain and cryptocurrencies is catching. The only thing I found missing was a better explanation of exactly what the compute nodes are doing to earn their bitcoins. There are general references to using cryptography, but it would be nice to have a better explanation of the computing and the quorum aspect when you're dealing with thousands of distributed nodes in a public blockchain. Overall, I don't think I wasted my money taking this course, but I think it could be just a tad better... possibly through the use of more slides depicting the transactions flowing through the network.

Great course. Ravinder explains every aspect. I would love to have more industries mentioned and more examples how blockchain could be used in these industries. Also more examples of the companies who use blockchain and the ways they use it.

Enjoyed the real world applications and would have loved to hear more on how this technology could be used in the real world. I felt that he could have gone into more detail overall as well as added more quizzes as this a little too simple, but it's great for anybody without any prior knowledge about blockchain in general. Great teacher, spoke well & made it easy to understand the whole course.

I like the teacher in general. He speaks clearly and not too fast. But the content was to general for me, especially the examples are so vague that I could not really grasp what the concept is. I expected more than just naming certain industries.

I knew a fair bit about Blockchain and DLT in general and perhaps was expecting more. There was a fair bit of jumping around, and instead of say taking 2 examples and walking through them in detail, this one had too many generalities. Useful enough though. Will try the smart contracts course.
By Mijan Huq on 4/8/2017
good introduction; provided facts that I was not aware of; could use a bit more detail on healthcare relative to the first three examples in section 1. Very superficial introduction in places on smart contracts but I recognize that this is a high-level intro to give a taste and go from there. From that point of view great for someone who has no exposure.
