Yes, it is a very good course covering cybersecurity fundamentals. As for the exam there some issues like the answers are said wrong, even though they are correct. Apart from that it is a good course to learn.

Some visual examples would have been helpful for some topics. Also the closed caption text often had acronyms incorrect.

"Taking this course was a fantastic decision! As someone starting from scratch, I found the explanations of core concepts like the CIA Triad, phishing, and basic network defense super clear and easy to follow. The hands-on exposure to real-world made learning engaging without feeling overwhelming. It was definitely a great match for me, and I feel much more confident in my understanding of digital security."

This course was excellent and exceeded my expectations. The content was well-structured, easy to understand, and highly relevant to current cybersecurity challenges. The course provided a strong foundation in cybersecurity concepts, including the CIA triad, vulnerabilities, threats, access control, network security, phishing awareness, and data protection regulations. The practical examples and assessments helped reinforce learning and improve understanding of real-world security scenarios. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to build or strengthen their cybersecurity knowledge.

While it does say foundation for beginners and yes it was, atleast in the hands-on projects and labs chapter a demonstration would have been better. also nicely taught but maybe needs more resources or external links to refer to.

I learned about basic cybersecurity. I learned about the CIA Triad, phishing, firewalls, HTTPS, and safe internet use. This exercise helped me understand how to protect information. I also learned from my mistakes. I feel more confident now.

I am learning the basics through this course. And it helps me before I go to the advanced levels of this course.
By Steven D'Amico on 5/5/2026
This course is an excellent primer. I'm in cybersecurity marketing and many of our new hires come in without a cyber background. This is a primer for them I will be recommending. Two small pieces of feedback: 1) The VPN section doesn't adequately flag that VPNs are often considered a risk in enterprise environments and is a common intrusion vector. 2) The quiz. When you type "False" it think you said "True." Some sort of error there.
