A good quick introduction to d3 that covers a lot of ground. If you need to learn d3 quickly, this is a great course for that!

Easy to follow, yet thorough.

It is very good as it helped me understand the relationship between HTML and d3 and how it affects HTML elements as it had not registered previously. I believe that even though this course is useful to learn fundamentals, it might be important that it should be flagged as covering D3 version 3 and does not cover the version 4 which happens to be much more different. Therefore this course is at least 4-5 years out of date.

Was able to easily follow along and it served as a good starting point for expanding knowledge with D.

This is an interesting subject in which the lecturer does a good job giving an introduction to d3 programming and getting the student up to speed with this challenging library. The pacing of the course is brief, a little too much as it often comes off as rushed with too many API functions being glossed over without any explanation. In addition there are some production quality issues such as supplied example files having different file names, coding bugs being silently fixed later in a video without informing the viewer, inconsistent audio levels. All in all this is a good course.

I am an experienced programmer, but never worked with web technologies. It is just beginning of the course, but so far it is very clear and pace is also good, neither too slow nor too fast.

Learning to use D3 on a new product at work to show all kinds of data. Our customers can customize based on what they deem important to their company.

It was a good intro to d3, I had no knowledge of it before, so I feel like I could be productive in it. I would have liked more explanation of the d3 API, like what enter() does, and more about building different kinds of charts, like stacked bar-graphs, pie charts, and more interacting with charts, like clicking on parts and having the chart elements pop on hover. But overall, it was worthwhile.
