Dashboard Design Fundamentals [2022] - Dashboards that work (Udemy.com)

I bought this course because I took his data visualization one and it was so good. This one is very fine, the teaching style is obviously excellent as with the other, and the information is very well picked, but it suffers from severe audio problems. It is still recommended, because the teaching quality compensates for the technical details, but it's a pitty he overlooked that. Still, this is something worth watching a couple of times and very well recommended, unless your listening skills are not so good being a non-native speaker.

Joshua provides some great insights and tips to keep in mind when planning and crafting dashboards. I appreciate that the content is all platform agnostic, and can be applied regardless of your technical tool of choice. Well-worth the time. Thank you!

Great course! Lots of examples provided in an easy to understand business language without being too technical. Blueprint provided was very helpful to decompose the learning into understandable tasks and get most value from this course. Giving 4 as the sound quality is quite poor, I could barely hear even with the highest volume settings on my PC

The sound is horrible - so low and hard to hear. The subtitles not in sync with the sound (different content). The content was repetitive and sometimes I zoned out. I wish we had more real-life examples. If you are in UX field some content may seem like obvious and you already know.

The course is very good main to issues that can be better is quality of sound sometimes it is very low and also there's a lot of repetition some times it feels too much the idea was already clear. Other than that the course is very good and I'm pleased.

I took Joshua Brindley's data storytelling course. I am hoping this course will be just as helpful. He delivers the right content in understandable ways.

Good only for summary of fundemantals. But there is too much talk, too little examples and tips. It is ironic that in a lecture for dashboards, you see mostly powerpoint slights and the face of the presantor but only a few dashboards. There is also no dashboard with real data in the whole lecture.

Very good course filled with excellent information! I’m definitely learning a lot of concepts that will be useful as I design dashboards for different use cases. The one minor criticism I have is that the dashboards shown are too simple. I would have liked to see more real-world dashboard examples which (from my experience) are often far more complex. But a great course to learn high-level concepts and the instructor is excellent at explaining things in a easy to understand manner.

Amazing Content. The only issues I can point are some missing resource content and the lack of audio quality/clarity/volume on all videos but the Bonus - Case Studies. If you plan to use speakers for this course BEWARE the audio quality. I've tried on my big PC speakers and Smartphone, any speed above 1.25x becomes unintelligible.

Very much rich content. This course is very much clear and explains each and every aspect to create effective dashboards. Really liked the course.
