Excellent and well-structured Databricks course with clear explanations and practical examples. The course was very helpful in preparing for the Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate exam, which I successfully passed. I passed my exam Today! This is the only course I took to clear the exam. I made notes of each video. Before this course I had experience in databases, sql, python basic syntax and a bit of data warehousing. I learnt a lot from this course. I covers almost all the material you need to know to clear this exam. I would say it cover more than what you need. But the questions at the end of the course a too simple. The actual exam questions are way more difficult compared to these exam questions. I bought another exam questions course for practice exam questions from another instructor. I would highly recommend this course to everyone.

I completed my DBX DE Associate Cert on 8/15/2026. This course is my first source of learning. It explained ther base concepts really well and the hands on labs are very helpful to dig the concepts into memory and understand them to answer exam questions. This course not only helped me with the cert prep but also with my Data Arch. work. Thank you for this course. I strongly recommend it!

I used this course to prepare for Databricks Data Engineer Associate certification exam, and successfully completed it. Pros: This course is a good introduction to Databricks, and very hands-on, which is good for getting actual experience with the platform, and also for retention. Cons: 1. The course slides are not review-friendly. There is very little on them, making a quick review of the concepts very difficult without re-watching videos. 2. The exam questions were more fine-grained and in depth compared to the contents, specially about various parameters and their behavior. Although this course provides enough conceptual understanding to get to the correct answer by elimination, the depth, specially in the area of data-ingestion (properties and parameters) is what I felt, slightly lacking. Covering these gaps and adding an exam-ready review document will make it a 5-star course.

Many labs are based on All-purpose cluster, most of them can be done in Serverless in free edition.
