This course has a foundation with clear, in-depth examples, but it ultimately feels unfinished. While individual concepts are explained, the lack of conclusive summaries, Q&A support, or practice tests makes it fall short for anyone preparing for a certification exam. It is a decent starting resource if you just want to learn specific segments, but you will definitely need supplementary materials to fully prepare and test your knowledge.

I am quite disappointed with this video, and I am giving my reasons below: 1. The Course name is misleading; the course is not about the Databricks certification. 2. The trainer did the same thing again and again, just with different algorithms like regression, classification and forecasting. 3. The explanation is very bad; the trainer never tried to tell what the purpose of any of the operations was. 4. At least provide the notebook so the students can run the code block and understand it better. In my opinion, the course is very lazily made. The only good thing is that if you are new to Databricks machine learning, then you will learn a few new things.

It will not prepare you for the exam. Not even close. There are so many more topics not covered here. That said, it has much useful practical information. Also, the presentation had too much screen-reading without explaining or providing insight. Constant mispronunciation of hyperOPT as "HyperPOD" was distracting. HyperOpt will be deprecated soon. So though Hyperopt is on the test, an alternative would be useful in practice

I purchased the course with 8-10 chapters , suddenly I have seen half of the training materials withdrawn . This course is not up-to-date . notebooks not given . very annoying hyperopt is pronounced as hyperpod . however the course is overall good for initial understanding of the topic and exam pattern .

As a practical course it is very good, you can get to know and practice with a lot of elements in the Databricks platform for ML with this course, but I am not sure if this practical course is oriented to people looking to pass the certification Databricks Certified Machine Learning Associate Exam, so it may be worth it to change the name, also sections need to be updated like Pandas on Databricks & Accessing Data ADLS. In general, I think it is a very good course to learn the ML tools available in Databricks, but for the exam preparation, this may not be the ideal course.

Thanks! I passed and I learnt a lot after learning from your course!

In general it's a good course, but it's annoying that some of the jupyter notebooks failed to load to databricks. I had to manually create some notebooks and to copy-paste information from HTML to notebook.

Very complete course with clear explanations and very helpful resources. I very much enjoyed the detailed insights provided by the instructors and feel ready to register and take the DBX ML Associate Exam. Thanks for the learnings and the great experience!

Missing the Unity catalog at the moment, and in the 'Classifier Notebook AutoML example,' some code is skipped or glossed over regarding how to prepare the Spark DataFrame to be used with the scikit-learn confusion matrix. It’s still worth it, though, just frustrating for beginners.

The course is really good. This covers the many topics and hands-on, I completed a degree in machine learning and this course helped me covering those areas that I struggled
