Excellent, exactly what I was looking for: I was interested in learning how to think about design and how to come up with visually pleasing styles, while every other course focuses on giving you blueprints that you can follow but don't teach you how to adapt to your own or even how to come up with original designs.

I really enjoyed this course and the information provided , however, the course videos did get stuck and on my laptop there was no sound from lesson eight onwards. I use the same internet for both my phone and laptop, I had sound on but the videos had sound off and I tried a few times but they wouldn't turn on, so I continued doing the course on my mobile phone. I would have given 5 stars but due to these problems- didn't.

This was a very fast pace qhuick course with all the basic elementals of interior design. I enjoyed this course for it’s simplicity & refresher for myself. I am an Architectural dDesigner of 30+ years and this was a lot of fun for me ! Thank you for the very nice presentation of the materials in a. Cohesive manner!

Good overview about the design principles and elements. Really like the analogy of ingredients and a recipe. I do think it would massively benefit from taking the student through many more examples of how to use the elements more effectively when trying to achieve certain design principles; as well as certain pitfalls that may be common in design work. Finally, I think using less obvious examples would also be of tremendous benefit - these could be like case studies at the end of a unit. That may be more effective than the mini quizzes at the end of each section. But overall good introduction that I can use as I begin to take other design courses.

Very informative and easy to understand using photos to show examples. I learned a lot from this course! My favorite takeaway- the instructor is from South Africa and kept calling throw pillows “scatter cushions!” It made me laugh and kept me entertained! ;) I enjoyed this instructor and would take another course with her again.

This course provides very good and relevant knowledge, I enjoyed it. But I was missing the HOW to implement the elements and principles of design. The instructor provides a good definition of what they are and examples of them but no practical demonstration of how to implement them. I really enjoyed the slide show and how everything was written out. It made it very easy to follow.

This course was short and simple. It was a walkthrough of the basic design elements. She gave a couple examples per. It was interesting but I wish it was more detailed. I'm glad I paid $10 for it, if it cost more than that, I would not buy it. I was thinking of buying her other courses but for the price I would rather just buy a design book.

I enjoyed this course very much and appreciated the visual examples and the quiz at the end of each section. Proportion scale is something i need to work on. The course also confirmed that I have a natural eye and interest of interior design. Need to look into more courses. Well done

I thought the design elements and principles in theory proved to be relatively easy to understand but from a practical hands on notion. I had difficulty. Would of been nice to see a room done from scratch .usingall the design principles and elements.

This was a well thought out course that helped me understand the elements of interior design as a complete beginner. I've been able to use these concepts in creating mood boards and in designing the home I just moved into. Looking forward to using other courses by this author. Thank you!
