Neil Anderson
Hi, I'm Neil Anderson, and my mission is to build the best Cloud and Data Center systems engineers possible.
I dropped out of school with no qualifications or future plans at the age of 15. When I got a little bit older and wiser I realised I should make a career for myself so I pulled myself up by learning about IT technologies through books and online resources. It’s my passion now to help you do the same.
You know how some instructors seem to get a kick out of making things complicated to make themselves look smarter than you? I love to make things as easy to understand as possible and seeing you get that lightbulb moment.
I'm proud of my 'Top Responder' tag on Udemy and unless I'm on an international flight I'll personally answer your questions within 24 hours. I genuinely care about giving you the best experience possible, both in the quality of my training and in ongoing support.
Nothing makes me feel better than hearing back from students who I've helped move on to the next level in their career. It gives me huge satisfaction to know I've played a part in you achieving your goals.

Extremely helpful course. The information is presented clearly and efficiently. No filler or confusing jargon either. Overall a great course!

Very nicely explained about DMCA from all perspectives 1. Udemy 2. Search Engines (Google) 3. DMCA in general Thank you Neil this helped a lot for small instructors like us on Udemy.

Excellent course that offers actionable information. While I knew how to search for and submit DMCA takedown requests, I did learn two new things: (1) Why it is a good idea to leave links on certain types of file sharing sites, and (2) Google alerts.

As a security professional, I see a lot of loopholes in this material which could make it better if some of these matters were discussed. Where there is mention of sending a DMCA request to the pirate sites, some time could also be spent showing how to identify the site's upstream hosting provider above them who will likely take more appropriate action. Many pirates will do their best to hide their hosting provider name or location but with simple tools, it is usually easy to identify who is the upstream provider above them and / or data center supplying the network connectivity to the infringing site and will usually garner more attention for action. Secondly, as much as authors would hate to hear this, ignorance of the DMCA laws and related regulations can also spell the downfall of both the copyright holder and even the hosting provider and potentially even loss of the copyright yet ignorance of these regulations runs high across the hosting world both among copyright holders as well as many hosts, a matter itself that should be more openly discussed. This course was very easy to follow. Every step was explained in detail, very clear and precise. If you are concerned about having copies of your work pirated, then you should be watching this lecture. Very good.

Thank you Neil for an excellent course! As a fellow Udemy instructor, the information provided here is invaluable and should be acted upon by anyone who sells digital content. I knew about the DCMA takedown requests, but the information about torrents and the tools to find and remove them was very useful. I'm now confident I will be able to remove the majority of pirate copies of my course on the web.
