Easy Excel Dashboards, Models, Visualizations & Power Query (Udemy.com)

Great course! Learned so much! There were parts of Excel I didn't know about prior to this course and I know I'll be able to analyze my data better now. My only constructive criticism is that it would have been nice to either have a quiz under each section or for this course to be something where you pull up excel and follow along as the course is showing different tools. I don't know about everyone else but I definitely learn better and retain more that way. Other than that, it was great!

This course is fantastic! It's fast-paced so far, but it's ok because I can just pause and rewind as needed, and so much great info is packed in! I thought I knew a lot about Excel already, but I'm surprised over and over again in this course by all the amazing things I never knew it could do.

Enjoying it thoroughly so far, Jonathan explains it very well and goes at a good pace so that there is time to absorb the knowledge. The only comment I would make is to be able to provide students some the sample data files he is using so that students can have a hands on experience. But I really love it, Jon is doing a great job!

Great introduction to Power Query and some great use cases for examples. Would have liked more depth but honestly, this was a great balance between depth and length of course just to get you started with dashboards, modelling, some more advanced visualizations in Excel, and Power Query. You can easily rip through this course in a day or two, especially if you already have a strong Excel skillset.

Yes particularly interested in query and relationships/modelling etc. Some interactive examples would have been good to really help get to to grips with some of these tools. i.e. sample data sets and tasks to perform some of these functions, as demonstrated. Overall a really good overview of what can be achieved.

Excellent... The Instructor took me from ZERO to HERO in visualizing data in excel without using formulae within 2hours . Wow. Awesome. Great explanations and straight to the point in delivering the course objectives. Already bought R Tidyverse and R Shiny Flex.... Am so excited and cannot wait to start analyzing data using R. Thanks.

The instruction is organized, and he focuses on the most useful information: how to curate the methods of analysis. Thus, he doesn't overload the instruction with irrelevant details. This is the best Udemy course I've taken so far, and it is because of the instructor's approach to learning.

The course helped me to think more strategically about what is the right tool and what distinct steps to plan with a data project. My previous approach would be to jump into a workbook and get stuck in. Jonathan is also quite motivational in that he is motivated to find the best tool for the job to get the job done and to move on to something more exciting - rather than getting lost in how wonderful the tool is.

A lot of the things in this course is something that I was working on but the course was helpful on why aspect of it where I was doing things because it made sense and this course gave me the background logic on why I was doing it the way I was. Thanks for the to the point and at the same time detailed explanation!

Excellent! I'll be looking for ways to apply the tips and techniques learned in my work in reporting and analytics (currently using Excel 2013). The scenarios were practical and easy-to-follow. I will take additional courses by Jonathan to increase my technical skills as I found the training to be interesting, informative, and a bit fun!
