The course will teach you how to present data to leaders in a way that that allows them to interact with the data in a manner that is intuitive and leads to more efficient decision making. This course will take you step by step through the dashboard building process. Beginning with conceptual dashboard and visualization concepts, and moving through efficient data model design, and ending with interactive visualizations that are both stunning and usable. Ever wonder why your brain (and your dashboard viewer) is drawn to specific designs? This course walks you through all the nuances of our brains and eyes that impact how we process data. The topics are advanced. But there is no need to feel overwhelmed by the content. The instructor has eliminated unnecessary steps. This is a step by step guide to becoming an Excel Dashboard Pro.

I like the pace and pitch at which Jordan speaks, just the right amount of description and focused elaboration. He's clearly applied these skills himself, and the resources allow you to follow his workings in the videos. The mini-quizzes are a good way of reinforcing some of the key messages, although I'd have preferred if the the correct answer isn't always the first one (too easy to guess if you haven't been paying full attention!).

Nothing to do with Dashboards so far. Just basic Excel. Inconsistent instruction. Flaws in demonstrated formula examples (missing())

I expected more data integration to be represented in the dashboard, along with more user interactive features. But the I learned a lot about charts manipulation, and formulas that will definitely be useful in future projects.

Very good course that covers the fundamentals of data visualization for building Excel dashboards. Would highly recommend for folks interested in learning to building dashboards or just better ways to present data in Excel. I love the Lifetime Access feature offered by Udemy as sometimes I can't finish a course within the year. (I did with this course). Would pay $100 US for the course. Now I need to go back and dig up my copy of Jordan's and Chandoo's book...

I have taken most of the dashboard classes on Udemy and found this one to be far and away the best. I have built dashboards using pivot tables and found Jordan's concept of using formula driven dashboards to be far superior to the pivot table technique. This is one awesome course. I look forward to impressing my manager with my new knowledge. Thanks Jordan!

Excellent classes, good demos, easy to hear and understand. I have never thought that at this point I would see excel classes that are not VBA related. We some times have a misconception that pivot tables and VBA are the only solutions for delivering information to dashboards, but as this course shows, it`s not true. Congratulations for the exceptional work you've done here.

Overall, the course contains detailed descriptions of all concepts and principles needed to start making a great professionally-looking dashboards immediately. Except this, I liked tips about using boolian operations in formulas. Also, before watching this course I even haven't thought about methods for improving formula's readability and especially using different functions in formula to decrease time excel takes to re-calculate the sheet. In my opinion, the course is great!

By Külli Esko on 12/5/2016

It's easy to follow (though sometimes you have to put in some formulas twice or thrice, if you are not paying attention! :), all the possibilities teached here are becoming "Live" in my imagination while trying them out - how could I use those in my work, which reports should I update already tomorrow... So it's definitely a good one, I do recommend it very warmly!

I have been an Excel TV & Option Explicit fan for a very long time. I don't even need to view the whole course to leave a 5 star review. I just know it will be amazing. I will provide an updated review at the end of the course just to add more value to this review. Thank you ExcelTV for this course. NB: This course was paid for and is not a free review.

I love learning how to make my data spreadsheets a living, dynamic tool that easily describes to others how the data is sorted, manipulated and graphically presented while making my presentation clear and sophisticated for end users! Excellent explanations and suggestions, particularly on array functions and making data formulas dynamic preventing opportunities for errors! Two thumbs up!!!
