Reviews

"Well thought out and explained in a way which makes it easy to learn & understand." - Arnold Schwartz

"This course is very well structured and the teachers knowledge is very good. His teaching style is capturing and he is very structured. The small tests after each section is great, and even greater is that he takes time to show his thoughts on how is should have been done, not just leaving one to wonder if it was right or not. The resources used in this course is also very suitable. Highly recommend this one" - Daniel Sandberg

The Expert element was probably too much for me as I will never use it but good to know it the various functions exist. Biggest problem was the the presenter has amazing keyboard skills but is difficult to see what he is doing as it done at hundred miles an hour.

By Kaltrina Kamberovska on 8/11/2021

This intermediate to advanced excel course was great. Phillip definitely knows his stuff and explains everything clearly and with examples. Practice activities at the end of each section reinforce the learned material and give you a chance to make sure you've truly understood the content. For the later sessions, I would have liked more tasks in the practice activities, but that's something one can practice on their own as well. Phillip is an excellent instructor and I definitely look forward to more of his courses in the future.

By Shivani Bhandari on 10/20/2020

The course offers various topics which goes beyond and advances to a more proficient & quintessential features of an excel, especially with crucial knowledge equipped. Providing with an ability to self-apply and write newer solutions (to even errs) while practising problems.

By Denis Payne on 6/8/2020

Great information! So many great ways to use Excel with hands on experience. Wonder if practical "real world" application could be added into the practice activities?

By Sylvia on 4/27/2020

Oh yes. I took the beginner's Excel from Phillip earlier this year and passed the Excel specialist exam with a 935. Working towards my expert now. Thank you for your clear instructions.

By Silvia Alongi on 11/2/2019

Phillip is an amazing teacher! He is so clear when explaining simple or complicated concepts. He is always happy to help and very responsive to your questions in the Q&A section. After have tried the free course "Excel 2019: From beginner to intermediate (MOS cert MO-200)", I have decided to have a look at his courses and I have decided to buy 3 of them: "Excel in Microsoft Excel 2: Intermediate to Expert advanced" (for 77-728 exam), "Microsoft Access Beginner to Specialist (Intermediate) Level" (for 77-730 exam) and "Tableau 2019, 2018 & 10: Certified Associate certification". Thanks Phillip!

Overall a good course. Instructor went off on tangents that were too fast and hard to follow, so I just sat and let him go without trying what he was doing. The quizzes at the end of each section were much more basic than some subject that he sped up on anyway.

By Daniel on 5/8/2018

I already passed 77-427 and 77-428 exams with this course (and some experience too). The real exam questions are weird in some way (because of what they expect you to do and HOW to do it), but I cannot recommend enough this course. Do it if you want to get certified or dominate excel. There are things covered in this course than won't appear on the exam, like VBScript or form controlls, but it's useful in the real life. Thanks Phillip.

By Antonio Mordini on 2/19/2018

Wonderful course!! There is everything you need to know for the Microsoft Excel Expert Exam (I've just passed it!), and it's all well explained! I highly recommend it for everyone who wants to take and pass the test or to understand better the Excel world. Great job Phillip!

By Steven B on 2/18/2018

Excellent course. The instructor knows his stuff and it shows. Very in-depth - explains the little things that often go overlooked in other Excel courses I've done. Passed the Advanced Excel certification test first time with the skills I learned in this course!!! If you want to learn advanced Excel skills this is the course.
