Course Description
As an Excel user you've probably heard a lot about VLOOKUP and other lookup functions. But what can lookup functions do, why should you use them, and how can they help you?
In essence, lookup functions search through data and return specific values. You may be asking yourself, “Well, why can’t I just do a manual search through my data with ctrl-f and find what I need that way?” And sure, that’s fine if you only need to look up one or two things. But what if you have ten, a hundred, or even thousands of things you have to search for and search through?
That’s where lookup functions come in, they are all about making Excel do the work for you. They can help you to quickly and efficiently retrieve data which saves you time and effort.
This course is a comprehensive deep dive into Excel’s lookup functions including (but certainly not limited to) the ever-popular VLOOKUP, my personal favorite, INDEX-MATCH, and the new function, XLOOKUP. It will give you a solid foundation of lookup function knowledge, but also challenge you to learn about and create nested and two-dimensional lookup functions that can really take your Excel capabilities to the next level.
In this course you'll get:
Detailed video walkthroughs so that you can feel confident about each step
Copies of all the files used in the course videos so that you can follow along and practice
Exercises that will challenge your understanding and deepen your lookup knowledge.
By the end of this course you’ll be able to confidently use lookup functions, perform two-dimensional lookups, create nested lookup functions, use data validation in your lookup projects, and know how to correct common errors, among many other things.
And while I hope that you love the course, Udemy has a 100% 30-day money back policy so you can try the course risk-free and can request a total refund if it's not meeting your expectations.
I'm so excited to teach this course because Excel lookup functions are my absolute favorite. There’s just something about seeing your data magically populate in cells because of a complex formula that you created that’s very satisfying - I can't wait for you to experience this for yourself and start loving lookup functions as much as I do. So check out one of the preview lectures for some free lookup function knowledge and a peek into my teaching style, or if you're ready to learn all you can about lookup functions right now click the "Buy now" button and I'll see you in there!

What a fantastic course with excellent resource workbooks! I always find it easier to learn by doing rather than just watching videos, and she made the experience engaging and interesting. Definitely 5 stars!

The videos are very concise, get to the point without extra talking. The Excel formulas are demonstrated with good examples. The 1.5 hour lecture is very effective. It's an essential course for those who working with data lookup, search in spreadsheets.

So far so great, loving the examples, access to work books and the explanations behind how a formula works. The transcript could be a bit more accurate wording wise as it sometimes shows words that isn't what the instructor said. A step by step book/document on how do all the formulas with pictures might be a great addition to add as it could be saved and used for later purposes.

To give it five stars I do think a little more on this topic should have been covered, especially how to use the functions dialog boxes rather than to write out the formulas, this was a pretty big omission. Still it was a good course overall.

Robin Davis is an Excellent instructor. This is the Best course that I have taken so far. She simplified and made very easy to understand Vlookup, Xlookup, Xmatch, Index-Match, etc. I highly recommend this course to others! Thank you Robin Davis!

The course is good, but the instructor hasn't answered a few questions in the Q/A. I had the same issue as other people and was looking around for a resolution, but have not seen a reply to them. The question header is: "Vlookup-indirect"

Plenty of practise examples to learn from, and you learn all the functions in an in a logical order making the course flow naturally. Well explained and in small enough chucks not to be overwhelming. Great course.

This is an excellent course with some goods nuggets of information to maximize my Excel skills. The presentation is well done, yet seems to be highly scripted. So I needed to slow down the speed of presentation so that I had a chance to watch and listen at the same time.

Great demonstrations and well explained formulas, having examples and exercises is useful as you learn excel by doing. Answers for Lecture 11 didn't appear to be corrected - only issue.

The Course is what it claims to deliver. I like the style that after every new concept, the instructor lets us practice the concept with the help of an exercise. This truly boosts learning. I would request the instructor to roll out her full Excel course. Her style of teaching really makes Excel learning easy and fun.
