Very practical approach, effective methods, good good good. I was expecting more hands-on examples, especially about using and tweaking EQ and reverbs. But technical tutorials are widely available on YouTube anyways. So yes, good course, easy to put into practice. Can't wait for more, thanks !

the course was a great intro for me to the foley world that im planning to shift my career to, but i was expecting more software practical excersises on protools or final cut or vegas and how to sync videos with audios and how to organize my tracks throughout the videos..etc also i have a previous background on using shotgun microphones to record my foley tracks and effects which i was also expecting to get an advanced information about it and how to record good sounds and the best mics for it. all in all it was a very interesting course and experience and i could trust the instructors experience from his way of explanation.

If you're making a film you want to sell to a distributer, you pretty much need to know how to handle audio. This course tells you how.

This was a great starting point some stuff is common sense but he had a few nice tricks to share. I wish we got to see the studio and with more explanation on sounds and how to get what you want for different effects.

The course is a great intro into the process of creating and/or integrating sound into video. I particularly like the considerations required for different genres of movie. However, this is merely an overview and will not go into any sort of in-depth discussions regarding, choosing or using recording equipment, post processing software, or specific techniques.

This is a solid, down and dirty course for someone who isn't familiar with sound. Hope to see more elaborate courses from the instructor.

My son and I would first like to sincerely thank Craig McMahon for taking the time to put together these Master Courses. For 2 years I have researched to find affordable film production, screen play and sound design courses for my teenage son who is very passionate and serious about becoming a professional in these fields. This is a great course with so much to offer. I would highly suggest this as a required supplement to Craig's main course, Filmmaking Secrets! Write a ZERO Budget Movie. My son and I look forward to more courses with real world applications, creative cost saving and time efficient tips and tricks. P.S. It would be greatly appreciated if Craig would make a course demonstrating proper camera and lighting use on sets indoor/outdoor with various cameras, angles, settings, and lenses for various desirable effects and results including the use of green screens. Then, a detailed course on editing software for post production with tips and tricks for proper dialogue, Foley sound, and film integration, software lighting enhancements, etc... for best results.
