Final Cut Pro X - Beginner To Advanced (FCP MASTERY 2026) (Udemy.com)

Well presented in a fun and memorable style with lots of hands-on. Of course as SW is constantly being updated it missed a couple of the newest features, but that is too be expected.

I have been using Final Cut Pro X for years, but I didn't know everything it could do, which is why I took this course. I learned a lot. The only thing I didn't know how to do was how to download the Custom LUTs and other Custom things (for free) and how to open the web browser in FCP. But I don't usually do those things when editing so it didn't bother me. Great job!

I think this was a good use of my time. I know there is more to Final Cut Pro that I will discover over time, and this was a solid 101 to get oriented. I have a feeling it will pay off. There is so much more hidden in the program than what was apparent when I first started using it. Thanks!

Yes... I had to figure out some things like how to get the audio sfx that simply were not where he said they'd be but other than that it so far has gone smoothly and I can't wait to learn even more being that I'm so far only going over the basics which I mostly already learned in my year and a half of using caput... the only thing is in section 2 when you do the jump and roll mini challenge be prepared this was the hardest undertaking I've ever done and I viewed it as rather a mega challenge this being mostly because the guy explained it bad bad bad and sooooo fast fast fast and I had to keep going back and re watching, trying random things and overall spending two days or more with his "explanation or how to" before getting it sort of my tip watch where the end shows you how to do the draw shape effect it is much easier and overall cleaner and will save you the hassle! Will keep updating with more tips as I go through the units :)

Je ne trouvais pas de contenus en français qui me convenait pour apprendre sur ce logiciel et je me suis souvenu que j'arriver a comprendre l'anglais suffisamment car ici le professeur parle vraiment bien et articule très bien je dois aussi féliciter la pédagogie et la qualité du cour et aussi tout les document et vidéos pour pratiquer notre travail ! I really liked the roadmap provided with time estimates and learning objectives at the beginning of the course. I also appreciate that they took the time with file organization, since the terms "Library," "Event," and "Project" were different than what I'd encountered outside of the film editing environment before. I also appreciate that the course integrates projects so we can stay actively engaged in the learning process.

Wydaje mi się, że jest to bardzo dobry kurs dla osób, które zaczynają swoją przygodę z FCPX. Sporo podstawowej wiedzy jak i bardziej zaawansowanej. Wiadomo, że z takiego kursu nie nauczymy się obsługi programu od A do Z, do tego trzeba czasu i eksperymentowania, ale na pewno jest to solidne podłoże do sprawnego poruszania się w tym środowisku montażowym.

Good. He goes a bit fast for me, a complete newbie, but I am rewinding a lot. There were a few times he right clicked on, the library, for instance, to get a dropdown to other options, like events, but did not say he was right clicking. I had to back up and figure out that is how the drop down came about. But no big deal, I am tracking.

I got Final Cut Pro months ago, I told myself I would make money with it, well… zero money made so far lol. Then I watched some YouTube videos and thought they would be helpful, but honestly I need to follow an organized set of classes, and I found it here. A few classes were confusing for me, especially during the intermediate and advanced parts. I honestly didn't get some of the things explained, but I’m sure I will eventually, ’cause I'll check the classes over and over. Overall, amazing teacher, congrats to you and your crew. Thank you so much for this course! It was my first time using Udemy, I used it both on IPad and Computer. Everything worked smoothly. Overall the course was pretty fun to follow. I really liked the mini challenges, as it makes you apply the skills you’ve learnt as well as push to think how to do it. Course is keeping up with updates that Final Cut Pro is adding (that’s a plus). Explanations were clear, and visually helpful. The gradual progression from beginner to advanced definitely made it easier to complete. I feel like most of it are really good basics to build upon to become a real pro. Still, the part with folders for Motion Templates was an issue for me, as for some reasons I didn’t have them, so it was a separate research. Other than that, this is a great course if you look to improve, get a certificate, or choose it over the school (and save lots of money).

They do a great job going over the basics of how to do anything from the beginning of having FCP but it's nothing you can't find on youtube.

This educational video is terrible, and the workflow of stopping instead of continuing the lesson is horrible!
