Forex Robots: Automate Your Trading - Practice EA Included! (Udemy.com)

This is my second course with Kirill. As usual, Kirill continues to deliver tons of quality and practical knowledge that helps me in my journey to building my own trading robots. The materials learnt in this course can be applied right away. Play around with what's being taught after every video or section to reinforce the concepts especially sections 4 and 5 on optimizations.

Fantastic explanation course so professional because so simple in its exposition and really I am happy to have bought and participate to this course! Well done.... I believe all the necessary info are included to avoid any failure during real use of EA. the request of a new second course more specific about Strategies and Differences of Brokers in connection with this course should be a good point for increasing our interest. I was fully satisfied for this course giving professional knowledge of testing and optimization skill.

The course is very good. I think it's very well structured. The succession of the contents is done in a fluid and detailed way. There is nothing left to be approached and described accurately by the Instructor, Mr. Kirill Eremenko. The course is 5.5 hours, but you should do it calmly and even review some classes. Follow up, mimicking in your Platform, to better interpret the contents covered.

Some of this is obsolete with newer EAs from the teacher. Also, he clicks around pretty fast, so you have to go back often to see how he moved around the platform. Optimizing inputs had only a very brief explanation. There doesn't seem to be any real rhyme or reason as to how you put in the Start, Step, and Stop parameters; which seems to be the heart of any good optimization. The Excel lectures, which seem important, were done very quickly, and if you are not conversant in Excel, that will be a fairly long learning curve. Definitely worth 10 bucks, with a lot of great basic info for beginners, but a lot of this course was watching his forward tests. Also, I asked a question of the instructor a week ago and have not had a response regarding the use of the updated EA. Also, also, I don't know where that 175% in earnings fits in with all of this...

Kirill does an interesting job of presenting backtesting and optimisation techniques. The first half is slow and I would guess only interesting to anyone who has no experience at all with MT4. The second half picks up nicely. Unfortunately the promise that you will be earning 175% per annum is totally misleading. That result is based on only 2 weeks of real account testing in 2014. As you will learn here, (1) every broker and even every account type will yield different results and (2) nothing lasts. The GBPUSD market phenomenon exploited by Kirill’s EA is very specific. Today (2016, post Brexit referendum) it does not work. There's a lot of info here regarding testing, but I'm not convinced I am now in a position to find those unique settings that will get a robot to work in specific environments. Interesting but not entirely satisfying.

I just completed Kirill Eremenko’s course “Forex Robots: Expect to Earn 175% P.A. Forex Robot Included!” and it was excellent! This is the best Udemy course I’ve taken so far. This was my second course by Mr. Eremenko and I’m already signed up for two more. Kirill Eremenko is an excellent instructor. This course was very well organized and the coverage of the topic, Expert Advisers and Optimization, exceeded my expectations. I had no idea MetaTrader 4 was as powerful as it is. I will be reviewing portions this course to pick up some of the many details I’m sure I missed the first time through. I’m looking forward to Mr. Eremenko’s next course “Algorithmic Trading in Forex: Create Your First Forex Robot!”

Kirill's in depth knowledge of this platform and the forex market make this course invaluable. I cannot imagine HOW I would have learnt my way around all the 'back alleys' of Metatrader without his astute guidance. Kirill has encyclopedic knowledge. He demonstrates this for instance in introducing us to genetic algorithms. Kirill avoids hours of frustrating searching through manuals and documentation and shows us a methodical, strategic way to utilise this powerful platform. Thank you for sharing your knowledge in such a cohesive and coherent manner. You are an excellent guide.

I've just finished the course - it's fantastic. Lives up to the experience i had in another course of Kirill's. This one tells you how you can get the most out of any EAs you use - meaning the potential for ongoing real profits! Covers the spectrum of how to get EAs working for you, from optimization to running live. Deserves every one of the 5 stars i gave it - thanks Kirill!

This course assists traders in understanding the statistical principles involved in data mining and trading strategy optimization. My favorite segment of the course is section 5 “Optimization Tips & Tricks for Success”. In section 5, the instructor delves into content many traders overlook such as the recovery factor and genetic algorithms. The instructor is eloquent when communicating ideas and covers all lecture tutorials in great detail. All strategy optimizations are followed by rigorous comparative analysis before dispatched into live trading accounts. After completing this course, I no longer perceive trading as a hobby and/or part time interest but rather a structured science that requires analytical reasoning. This course is intellectually rewarding and will change the way you interpret strategy statistics and data analysis. I strongly recommend this course for individuals looking to learn strategy optimization and improve their overall trading experience. This course is well worth its listed price.

If you are interested in algorithmic trading, this is an excellent place to get started. Kirill lays out the robot optimization process step by step, and even includes his 'SimpleSystem' robot to get you on your way. Be sure to have a look at his VPS course too - between these two courses I feel that I have a good basic knowledge of the algorithmic trading process to build on. Now, I am starting the programming courses and very much looking forward to learning to write my own EA's. Thanks for putting together some excellent courses Kirill. Your efforts are appreciated!
