I have purchased several courses for MQL4 programming, and this is by far the best one, having no previous experience in coding I found it very hard to understand other courses but Kirill breaks it down and uses simple terms so even I can understand it. I am looking forward to purchasing more courses from "Forex Boat"

The course was reasonably well structured. Breaking it down into small tutorials that didn't bombard a person with information made learning easier, especially if you are new to coding. Although it is an old course the information is still relevant. I enjoyed doing it and learnt some valuable information in relation to creating an EA. One the whole a good course for beginners to MQL4.

I am half way through & will adjust the rating if required later: This is a truly excellent course to learn the basics of not only how to code in mql4 but how to code an actual trading algo. He has A VERY GOOD teaching style. Recommend NOT to copy & paste the code from his site but to type it in & play around. There is no rush to complete the course, so just enjoy the process. Not looked, but hope he has an advanced course for me in a few months. ADDED after completed the course: The only Udemy course that I purchased that was actually worth completing. Highly recommend as your first algo/MQL4 course. Now I'm off to start his next course :)

As I progress through the course, I picked up more interest and understanding of the MT4 Meta Editor. Trying to debug the errors with the parenthesis in the exercise. I will be trying out the Simple System on another broker as my current one have some issues with Symbols(Instruments) which I think is on the side of the broker. I hope to test the Simple System with success, implement it in my real account and hopefully one day to create my strategy too! Thanks, instructor Kirill

Kirill is very much skilled and well knowledged in coding and programming of forex robots. I actually gained a lot of knowledge and skill coding and programming using script and expert advisor platform using meta editor and also applying the use of indicators as well. it was really great and exciting . Thanks Kirill looking further to study your next course.

Excellent!! Plenty of great material to get you started with understanding mql4 coding. Well explained and illustrated. Hard to find anything online put together as well on this topic. However, you can't be lazy, especially if you've never done it before. Requires some heavy concentration and perseverance once you start to experimenting beyond the course. Q&A section is terrific.

Course is good if you walk through it, it isn't as structured as one would find in other coding lessons so it'll be harder to try find a lesson that talks about one specific part you might have forgotten about. I am referencing this class multiple times as I attempt to create EA's, and something that would greatly help is if there was a quick overview page of what will be talked about at the beginning of each lesson rather than wonder what information will be mentioned/reviewed/and introduced that may not relate to the topic of the video itself.

No tengo experiencia en MQ4 pero si en programacion y el curso está bien formulado, la informacion aprendida es sencilla pero muy ultil. El instructor no pierde tiempo profundizando en temas que no aplican para el curso. El instructor es muy fuido en la escritura del código y de las practicas. Por si fuera poco intruduce el tema de la simulacion y optimizacion de estrategias de trading algoritmico. Lo recomdiendo.

The course was awesome: - learned the basics (from the simplest script to an example of expert advisor) - the basics concepts of programming : variables local & global, static keyword, functions,if - else statements, taking inputs & giving output. - how to use all the basic knowledge together with useful functions (that help you place an order, modify it, close it) to create expert advisors - testing the code in different cases in normal mode & optimization (used to find best inputs) Really hoping for an advance course to this one!

I took this course to get me going in MQL. By the end I've learned some basic concepts, which Kirill does a good job of explaining. As an illustration of the concepts, we code an EA. Unfortunately this EA does not work in today's markets. Kirill has actually updated this EA for another course of his here on Udemy and it would be nice if he added a few more modules to explain those additions. By the end I'm not far enough to build on what was taught here. The forex boat, to use that image, has not been pushed out far enough. I'm still sitting on the shore.
