it was so helpful to start with this course to learn about test automation .. but it needs to be updated as many things are different now due to new releases of eclipse and selenium ide .. But it's helpful for a beginner to know what is selenium in general. Thank you

Content was well detailed but delivered and spoken too quickly. Suggest slowing down verbal instructions but all in all good. I was unable to resolve any errors setting up project. Will replay course and pause along the way. Might be an individual system issue.

I found this to be a very educational course, for someone who has only carried out Manual Testing in his 23 years of System Testing. As I will be reskilling as an Automated System Tester, I have been looking for Selenium courses, this was exactly what I was looking for as a doorway in to Selenium testing. Just one small point, in lecture 2, you say there are 219 tests to be carried out, each taking around 2 minutes. 219*2 = 438 and not 428. The total time would then take 7.3 hours and not 7.13 hours.

There's no explanation of setting up the tools, there is a section that covers the very basics of testing (why and how) and then it jumps to working from within Selenium and looking at code. This felt very incongruous. This is an introduction/overview, and in that sense there is something to take away, definitely some peeks under the hood of automation. Instructor is very sweet, I would take one of his other courses.

Instructor speaks clearly and to the point. Gives good real life scenarios to determine if automated testing should apply to your project. Good explanation on how to do a time estimation for your test cases. Explains how to use the manual steps in your test cases as models for your creation of automated steps for the same test cases.

The course was exactly what it said it was. The instructor provided a good overview of Selenium, and a peek at Selenium IDE and Webdriver. I think my expectation was that there would be more practice material presented here rather than this being an intro to the instructor's other courses. As I said earlier though, from a purely explanatory level, this is a solid introduction.

Excellent course!! The instructor gives a good introduction to Test Automation and Selninium Test Suite. You will get to know the advantages of Testing Automation, how to go about doing it, , use of Selenium Test Suite, different models like Selenium IDE, Selenium Web Driver and Selenium Grid. The instructor also gave sample Java code for programming unit tests using Selenium WebDriver, so that you will get an overall idea of how it is done. In short, an excellent course if you need to get an overall view of Testing Automation and how to implement it. A++++++++++++++++++

It's an introduction, not a tutorial. - The installation/configuration process is not described. - The video's don't seem (I haven't seen any at least) to tell where the attached files can be found. Contains usefull information, but not enough to "get started" at the level described in the video's.
