Very verbose, but it misses to explain that the basic object git revolves around is the "commit" - the group of files that contain the changes to form the next version. This works very well with todays programming languages and methods which basically require to manipulate multiple files in different locations to achiev a coherent change. That one can commit a single file is an edge case, not the center of attention like in other SCM systems. That is also why empty directories are not tracked by git. Directories are a side effect of one or more tracked files residing inside it.

The animated gif memes seem unnecessary and distracting. They aren't related to version control. I would also appreciate if the materials were prepared a bit better. The instructor seemed to have a bit of trouble finding what he wanted on the bootstrap website and then spends too much time creating attractive web pages instead of going over version control.

Thank you for teaching and explaining all the concepts and commands of git and GitHub platform in a very easy and good way. The only thing I want to get added in this course is there should be some more examples for the major and important concepts such as removing changes, merging, rebasing, and rewriting history.

Happy with the instruction. Instructor makes large efforts to demonstrate live the features of GIT and GITHUB so you see them in action and see what they do. You don't become expert level in GIT from this ... but you can be proficient to work in project teams and can say you 'know GIT and GITHUB' honestly if you understand the course.

I have taken a few classes on git or github and until this class I wasn't even aware git was not github. I learned so much from this class. He goes through mimicing the examples and explaining everything. The only thing that was frustrating was the final bonus material the contact form doesn't work. I mean you can't click the submit button and it do anything.

Complete Git course from basics to advanced, covered all major commands in detail with a comprehensive explanation to the core concepts, recommend it to anyone who is new to git or even if wants a refresher to git. Amazing work Mohit, appreciated and would thank you for the efforts you pushed in (that we could pull very well :p) and thanks Coding Minutes!

Terrific course, loved it. There is one scenario which happens quite often in professional environment is that at a time we are allowed to raise a PR with single commit, but if we had multiple commits we had squash it to single commit. If possible please add that also. By far one of the best git courses on Udemy

Hi Guys, I'm leaving 5 Star. This is one of the most powerful course on Version Control System (VCS git). After completing this course I'm damn sure you will never see any of the content related to git, after this of course. Learning won't stop here. I would say actual learning will start after this course. Thanks Mohit for providing such a great content. PS: Eagerly waiting for Dockers and Kubernetes course in near future.
