This course was a great match for me. As a Customer Support Team Manager, I regularly handle coaching conversations, employee concerns, and performance discussions. The AI role-play scenarios felt realistic and gave me an opportunity to practice active listening, empathy, and problem-solving in a safe environment. What I found most valuable was learning how to balance understanding an employee's concerns while still providing guidance and support as a leader. The interactive format made the learning more engaging than simply reading or watching content. Overall, I found the course practical, relevant to my role, and immediately applicable to real workplace conversations. I would recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their leadership and communication skills.

The emphasis to listen and consult the team, and to communicate as a servant-leader, is evident in the script and underlying intention.

By Dorene Person on 9/7/2026

The course was very informative and thought provoking in how we should address opportunities of change. As the leader, it is very important to model change to others and build a plan to help them adjust as we move forward.

By Serena Battista on 4/30/2026

The role play section should have had the goals on the first tab or the ability to rewind the original comment from the AI bot so that we can have time to understand what role we are playing in the conversation since the information in the description was unclear

Through this course, I learned how critical my role is in influencing how my team experiences and responds to change. I gained a clear understanding of how to take ownership of change situations, communicate purpose before process, and listen effectively to uncover real concerns rather than surface resistance. I learned how collaboration strengthens commitment, how reframing challenges can build productive perspectives, and how to respond constructively to emotional reactions instead of avoiding them. Most importantly, I learned how consistent leadership behaviors—empathy, clarity, and accountability—can reduce uncertainty, sustain positivity, and help teams adapt successfully while maintaining performance and well‑being.

This course provides practical strategies and tactical guidance for leaders to effectively support employees through periods of change, especially when managing projects or teams. It focuses on owning one’s role during change, actively listening to team needs, collaborating successfully, shaping productive perspectives, and constructively handling difficult reactions while promoting positivity and overall well‑being. A key highlight—and the real game changer—was the focus on managing relationships and self‑development through AI‑based role‑play exercises. These simulations created a safe, realistic environment to practice challenging conversations, build empathy, and reflect on personal leadership behaviors. This hands‑on approach significantly enhanced self‑awareness and growth, reinforcing the idea that individuals respond to change differently and should be supported accordingly. Thank you for such an insightful and impactful learning experience.

Excellent advice in the matter in how to manage new changes and perspectives in how to manage each employee. Usually, we think that everybody is going to react in the same way. And not always is like that.

By Cheryl Burton on 3/31/2026

I'm not big on role playing so that part of this course was a challenge for me. The screen came up and I had no idea what was expected. Maybe a bit more detailed explanations would help in this.

By JP McGuire on 3/30/2026

This was a valuable course with a great role play activity. My one piece of feedback is, in my experience employees don't necessarily relate to management who also take financial cuts or bring in minor gifts like breakfast/lunch as it sometimes is replacing the verbal recognition that managers forget is often most important. overall, this course is a great framework for new leaders.

By Marcia Maria De Oliveira on 3/25/2026

I am not a manager, but decided to take the course for a richer experience following another course "Change Agility in the Workplace: Become a Change Agent" - and I was not disappointed.
