How To Get A Job That Pays Well: From Resume to LinkedIn (Udemy.com)

A good basic course on how to create a LinkedIn profile and a (digital) resume/cover letter. However I would have expected it to be more focused on the actual "search" topic. Also, some of the materials seem a bit outdated.

Nez has created content for various levels of professionals in their job search. Some areas may be review while other areas are brand new information - I appreciated both because i got something out of every section. The cover letter and bonus lectures were by-far the best sections of this class. I feel in 3 hours that I am more confident in my search.

He needs to update now that this is almost 2019. Try to have other examples besides Linkedin like how to have a resume on: twitter, instagram use for professionals who do not know instagram or snap, periscope, etc. These are other examples to use because younger professionals are now on other job boards.

Good information. Some introductory, but some enticing keys to prepare for and an evaluation guideline to reference back to as I move through the process. Great breakdown of cover letters and being more precise in your communication for a desired company and position. Good start and stop points for you to take a moment and implement what you're learning into your desired job board, or hidden jobs through your personal/professional network.

I've worked with Professor Nez as a client, and now taken this course, and frankly the man is a genius. I've never met anyone else that's able to lay the nuances of finding a job out in such a simple and concise manner. The course is comprehensive for digital mediums. Nez takes you through how to effectively utilize job boards, how to create a spectacular LinkedIn profile, how to write an amazing resume, and even goes over cover letters (something of a lost art). Absolutely worth the time an money. I can't recommend anything this guys touches enough.

Although I find your content interesting, I already know a fair amount about many of these subjects.

The LinkedIn sections are very good and helpful to maximize the power of the platform. The resume and cover letter sections are also quite good in detailing what should and shouldn't be included, as well as the importance of customization for the intended audience and position.

A lot of ideas I hadn't considered. I'm early in the course, but hoping it will delve into some of the concepts a little deeper. It has a really nice linear flow with concepts presented clearly.

This course really opened my eyes to how much reach i actually have when it comes to finding a job online! I learned so much about how important job boards are, social networks, and how to create a professional online resume that will make you standout among others. His videos are very well organized and you can tell he really knows what he's talking about. Highly recommend!!

The resume part of the course is the key, it really helped me with my resume since Professor Nez talks about every single detail we need to give attention to when creating a resume. This course is really helping me to meet the expectations of the employers in so many ways. I highly recommend this course to anyone unsure about their job search.
