Course Description

Terminating your Military service and re-entering a new civilian life can be a daunting and overwhelming process. Whether you served your country for one year, or completed a full Military service, the same transitional problems arise for many of us.

Life outside of the Military can be disorientating and confusing. However, there are a series of actionable steps that can be taken to make this transition smoother and more manageable. We'll explore these steps throughout the course

Military Transitions: Make An Effective Military Transition, explains the common pitfalls that accompany leaving the military and transitioning back into civilian life. By learning from someone who's been there before, you'll understand the core problem that most people find in this transition, and how to side-step many of it's most common challenges.

By the end of the course you will:

  • Establish a New Identity For Yourself Apart From Military.
  • Have a Stable Framework For Basing Your Future Decisions Upon.
  • Be Confident in the Next Steps You Must Take in Your New Civilian Life.
  • Understand the 7 Actionable Steps for Making a Smooth Military Transitions.
  • Understand the Main Difficulties that People Face When Leaving the Military.
  • Know How to Coach Your Former Peers Through the Exact Same Process

While it can only takes a day to hand back our Military ID cards and leave the Forces, it can take many years for the Military to leave us. Many ex-servicemen are unaware of the common problems that can be faced inside of this transition: which can come at the cost of their relationships, physical health, mental wellbeing and even their personal finances.

So, whether you served your country for one day, or over a decade, this course will give you a broad range of actionable life principles, understandings, and strategies to engage more effectively with your new civilian life.

This course has been created as a FREE resource for serving military personnel and ex-military personnel by someone who's already made a successful Military Transition.

I truly enjoyed this course very much. My son is in active duty currently and I am always interested in learning more about how to better support him for when he is ready to transition back into civilian life. This was incredibly helpful and very informative and I believe that the information provided is and can be useful to anyone going through any transition whether it’s military or not. I appreciate that I found this course and that it’s available to our military families.

I got this course for my husband who is leaving the military in the next 6 months. While he has yet to partake, I’ve completed it and thought it was brilliant. It’s really a course in learning how to get your life in order. I’ve begun evaluating my own life, and now have some direction! A great class for anyone really!

I found it a little long and became a bit boring towards the end. Otherwise very good.

Kain Ramsay is engaging. As a veteran, we know when someone is bullshitting us, Kain is not!!! I want to personally say this is not the first course by Kain, he is slowly becoming a role model for excellence for me and I am referring him and his courses everywhere I go. If you're a Veteran, this course will help you. So, no harm no foul, jump right in, take what serves you and leave the rest, the time is now. Take it from someone that had a very difficult transition. You deserve it.

Found the 7 steps applicable to anyone's life.; The quote: "We live by LEVELS; We arrive in STAGES" is food for thought; The Resources and books noted is a good place to further the information found in this video.....Over all, this course would benefit any family member of service men and women , as much as the veterans themselves. ..As an instructor , and a facilitator of support groups for families and spouses of military personnel, I was glad to find this course on UDEMY, as it helps to open the understanding of what our service men and women can and often do go through upon transition.

This course was interesting in many ways. First, the steps and insights can be applied to all life transitions in addition to military transitions. It would interesting to explore in greater detail alcohol and drug abuse & PTSD in terms of coaching options. The 7 steps that Kain shares are excellent! They can applied to all of us to make us better people! Very insightful, honest and heartfelt course which will help a lot of people. Thank you.

Great information and concepts that can be used by anyone that is going through (or wants to go through) change or transition. This course will help uncover a clear path that can help individuals develop a better understanding of what they have to offer to the world, and through taking action, the knowledge that they have the ability to create the person they want to be. Many of my clients are Veterans, Ex-Prisoners, and Newly Disabled... These concepts and approaches will work well with anyone that is having difficulty transitioning from who and what they thought they were, to discovering who they truly are beyond thede labels, so that they can understand how to grow into their full potential.

This is 2nd of Kain's courses I've completed. I have no milatary background.but took it as I thought it may help. I spent my early years living in pubs clubs & gyms generally getting up to no good. Then I moved abroad in mid 30s arriving back in UK in my late 40.s really with no idea how to interact with normal (if normal is possible) society. The course is clear and concise and I'm convinced of great value to ex milatary. And people in simalar situations to myself. I particualy liked the 7 step plan at the end of the course. An excellant workbook is included that should help greatly for my future development. The idealogy is fantastic and I believe workable, as well as inspirational. I will be using an adapting some of this hopefully for future clients. Great stuff Kain. So thanks.

It touches upon the most important aspect of life outside our home. It teaches us how to plan our career starting with a choice, how to ensure our skills matches the requirements of our next aspiration, how to constantly move forward and take up new challenges. I love the fact that videos were cut short so we can track our progress and can take a break when needed without the need to look for where we stopped last. it's a great eye opener. Congratulation and thanks Kain.
