This was a clear, well-organized and informative tutorial. I learned a lot and feel more confident about pushing ahead with this for our nonprofit. Though he got his points across, I would have enjoyed it more if he used more tasteful language that I am sure he has in his vocabulary. Smart fellow, for sure! Many thanks.

This course shared a surprising amount of actionable information in a compressed format. As a busy nonprofit leader, it was exactly the information I needed to have the confidence to undertake a video on my own.

This is a great piece of instruction. Done by someone who really cares about and is willing to help other people. To give these great suggestions to people that are trying doing something that he does for a living shows confidence in his work and caring for others. Thanks

This video was viewed this because I am working on a family video and believed I might benefit from tips from an experienced video creator. The time was well worth it. The material is logically outlined and presented. The information about length of video, adding sound, and iMovie especially useful. I am getting a Mac. Thanks for a great video.

It's very informative for a beginner like me.

The guy running the course is kind of a dick. It's clear he not naturally funny. He clearly wrote out every word of his script and is trying to force feed it naturally which comes off as a train wreck. I am confused why anyone would work with him. He's basically saying if your a poor non profit he won't make fun of you but then he proceeds to make fun of you passive aggressively through saying your videos will suck less. Buddy, either own the moment and really help people trying to do it themselves or don't. This weird, "I'm going to provide enough information to give you some insight, but not enough to really help you is a bull shit approach". It's almost like creating videos must be super easy, and you are afraid that paying clients will see right through your client services.

It is concise, right to the point and "sticky" enough to encourage me to remember the ideas and to practice. Also the instructor conveys such a confidence and genuine interest for us to succeed that makes me feel equipped with the "good video making survival kit" although I'm just a beginner. Thank you!

This is a must-see course for aspiring media producers. It will take you from virginal newbie to at least being able to approach making your first video with something like a fighting chance. As a filmmaker preparing some how-to courses myself, I was really irked by how good this is and how much producers have packed into such a brief introduction to the craft. Straight to the point, no fluff, very entertaining and informative, highly recommended.
