I found this course very helpful. I had covered a lot of the material before without ever really making sense of it. Finally, this course enabled me to start making sense of many issues which had puzzled me before, such as why consonants in Russian are classified as genuinely hard and soft rather than just classifying vowels as hard and soft and saying that the consonant has the quality of the succeeding vowel. The use of the hard and soft signs was similarly clarified. But those are just examples. The whole course was illuminating and very well organised. I was surprised at how well the videos were done, from a technical perspective. This course is very good value for money. I will certainly now go on to do part two. I offer my many thanks to its creator for the care and attention which went into the design and production of this course.
