The class is very informative but is there an update course that shows more updated information. This course is showing information for 2016.

As a tax professional, I can see a few errors in the way the material presented. The major one - Schedule K of 1065 or of 1120S is NOT a consolidation of K1s, it works in entirely opposite direction. Schedule K is a primary vehicle to enter all items that are going to be passed thru to the partners/shareholders. When it is filled, only then K1s are generated based on percentages or some special allocations.

A lot of really good information covered, especially explaining the differences between business structure/formations.

Yes. The teacher is very organized; He knows exactly what he is talking about; and he was prepared for all the needed schedules to be shown to the students to understand the subject matter better.

Good lecturer but the course spends significant time on types of legal entity, regulations and contracts rather than taxation and filing.

The instructor is very thorough and knowledgeable and makes sure to point out all the differences between business structures because this does matter in taxation.

This course is concise and informative for beginners, and for students and professionals preparing to take the CPA exam.
