Our take
Based on the ratings of 290 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in February 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.
This is a short, ESP32-focused course of 3.9 hours across 63 lectures. The syllabus is mostly a run of small code examples: LED blink, touch sensor, analog input, PWM, servo, then internet and a handful of projects. The sales page talks about ESP8266, Thingspeak, Blynk and a temperature monitor, but the syllabus and learning goals center on the ESP32 board itself. Think of it as a board tour with one internet section, not a full IoT build.
Reviewers like the clear explanation of the board and its built-in features, and one calls it more than satisfactory for a crash course. The complaints repeat, though. Students want to see the wiring and the hardware working, not only code on screen. One says the explanations stop after section 10. Others mention a hard-to-follow accent and subtitles with mistakes.
The rating is 4.0 from 290 reviews. Of those, 203 are four or five stars, 64 are threes, and 23 are one or two stars. About 32,600 students have enrolled, and the last update was February 2026. It is short and low-commitment. Pick it if you already have an ESP32 and know a little programming. Look elsewhere for a wired-up cloud dashboard project.
Pros
- Short at 3.9 hours, with small ESP32 examples for blink, touch, PWM and servo
- Reviewers say the board and its built-in peripherals are explained clearly
- Code and resources are provided, and one reviewer calls the content neat and clear
- Has a section on sending and exchanging data over the internet from the ESP32
Cons
- Several reviewers say wiring and hardware are not shown, only code on screen
- One reviewer says explanations stop after section 10, leaving code unexplained
- Accent and subtitle errors make some lectures hard to follow, per reviewers
A very good course to start with IoT with some good, hands-on examples explained properly, along with the proper resources provided, and the content presented very neatly & clearly.
Listed for all levels, but it asks for basic programming, and reviewers say true electronics beginners may struggle.

It is a good topic, and the explanation provided by the instructor was excellent and highly insightful.
By Meet Shah on 7/19/2021
The Video content was great, but from section 10 there was no video explanation, the codes given were nice, but would have been better if they were explained like the PWM code was explained.

Por la forma en que explican practicamente en sus ejemplos de aplicacion que se puede hacer.

By Anil Rana on 11/26/2020
I would have appreciated if section 8 involved connections with actual potentiometer, instead of only looking at the code
By Arjun Godha on 10/16/2020
The Course was good overall , great details about esp. but you should teach at least 2 project using this , not only codes but connection and hardware and usage. and use hardware while showing output , like the servo one could use a servo as an output and in PWM we can see output on a led dimming or changing its brightness. Overall it was a good course. Thankyou

A very good course to start with IoT with some good, hands-on examples explained properly, along with the proper resources provided, and the content presented very neatly & clearly. Especially, the board (ESP32) which has been told & worked upon all through this course is excellent, with great in-built peripherals. Very good & more than satisfactory for a crash course...:) Just one thing I felt was that the instructor could have been somewhat better with his delivery & accent.
By Shehzad Arain on 6/26/2020
every thing is good in this course but issues with me is some difficulties occur to understand the accent he is talking because in subtitles word not correct its also wrong. The other thing is kindly do main focus on practical only coding is not good show some practical work to us for understand better.
By JANGAM VIJAY KUMAR on 6/16/2020
practically showing the connections that was necessary for the course should be shown for the better understanding.thank you for the course
