Was looking for a general intro to MikroTik. I have a background with Sonicwall, Meraki, Ubiquti/Unifi and others so not a newbie. That said, MikroTik takes something of a different tack from the others so a bit of help to understand the box was required. At a basic level the course was okay but I found the instructor to be inconsistent in presentation. The many typo's made were distracting as was the constant flipping of screens. Background noise was distracting. And it really felt like there was no "structure" to the course. As an example, he could have used a simple real-world scenario, clearly stated, as a way to link what he was doing to some sort of real-world outcome. For example, he could have stated he had a lan with 5 PC's and maybe some sort of hosted service like a VoIP server on the lan and then built the config to match the needs. I am happy that I took the course and even happier that I got the course on sale for $20 as it was worth the money at that price point. It would NOT be worth it at what was listed as the regular price of $120.
