Laravel 2019, the complete guide with real world projects (Udemy.com)

This course teaches you how to use laravel but the pace is really fast. I coded before and wanted to learn php laravel and had to return and rewind so often that it was unpleasent. Would reccoment if you want to learn laravel but i would not reccoment if you want slower paced course. Author should read the reivews and maybe think about the pace.

pros: - good content: over all great course for beginners - good explanation: explained all the important things that covered in the videos - easy to follow but: cons: - lack of pre explanation . what and why is going to be done is missing alot and this is not a good practice to follow. - good projects to learn and practice but ofcourse not a "real world" level - using 5.3 is kinda outdated but not a big deal

If you are a complete beginner this course can be taken without hesitation because you won't realize that the coding style is far away from good practices. Katy is an engaging teacher, however all is done with php, and it leads to very poor result in when it comes to user experience. A bit of javascript should be used througout the lessons as it doesn't make any sense (for instance) to use routes for incrementing or decrementing a number of items as the page will reload each time the user hits the button. Katy is able to explain very basic concepts but learners will face his lack of structure and skills when it comes to complex coding. However, his enthusiastic voice is a plus.

O curso é maravilhoso, me abriu os olhos para outras formas de fazer o que eu já fazia, tem muitas coisas que eu fazia com linhas e linhas de código que aprendi fazendo somente com uma linha, fica tudo muito otimizado. Tambem me ensinou a fazer coisas que eu demorava dias para conseguir entender. Ele é um ótimo professor, recomendo.

Good content and really informative. One downside tho is that the instructor isn't really responding to the students when we're stuck. Maybe he will answer once, to ask more details, and if we answer we don't get any answer back... I can definitely say that I learned Laravel by completing this course, and I've been able to create my first real client website with Laravel afterwards.

One of the best course on laravel. All examples were to the point and filled with lots of information, which is usually not present in other normal courses. I would really love to see e-commerce example expanded more (implementation of bitcoin/other purchase options etc).

No hablo ingles pero debo decir que la voz del instructor me pareció muy clara y se le entiende mucho mejor que otros instructores, su ingles se comprende muy bien ya que no habla rápido, además de que los subtitulos ayudan un poco. El contenido del curso esta muy bien: son muchas horas de practica con cada una de las aplicaciones que se desarrollan. I new in Laravel and this course is amazing for beginners like me.

This built up my muscle memory in terms of how to do the common routines in Laravel. I was hoping error handling could have been covered and other methods of implementing validations and deployment but nevertheless, I loved this course! I have learned a ton of useful stuffs and I can tell that the instructor put a lot of effort into making this wonderful course. Lastly, thank you Kati! :)

Great course, I feel like I'm learning in real time because you get to see errors and how to fix them. So if you come across a similar error in the future, you'll know what to do and I think that's important. Also easy to understand and follow along plus Kati is quick to answer questions. One last thing the site actually comes out looking just as good when you follow the video..

Outstanding course. In some specific ways, and I know this may come as a shock to laravel learners, it's even better than laracasts. Obviously it doesn't have the scope of Mr. Way, but Kati gets results super fast. He has a talent for logical development of *full apps*, plus explanation plus knowing when to just head down and take you through the code and installing some feature because it's faster just to do that than try to explain it in the abstract. I skipped the first app as that focusses on the basics, the blogCMS was excellent, it uses a prebuilt template plus fluent bootstrap 3 so while this is full stack development you are learning there is little pause on niceties of custom css design which is perhaps as it should be where the focus is on delivering a complete result in the form of an app as it is here. (Nor is a front end build process used - if you're cautious of that, you'll see the benefit of it in the results you're able to achieve at such amazing speed!) And boy does Kati deliver! The second app is a full featured discussion forum and the number of features and quality of finished design is simply amazing. Be aware there is currently a slight mix up in the order of the videos for the second app, but you can work this out by referencing the github source which is provided. Persevere - it's really worth it! Can't wait to see what magic Kati has in store for the final ecommerce app.
