Course Description

This course was recorded in Laravel version 7

This is a doctor appointment web-based application made with laravel which you might have used in your daily life to book an appointment with the doctor. The booking application has three types of users namely patient, doctor, and admin.

The patient will be able to book an appointment with his doctor. In the frontend, we have a date through which the patient can filter the available doctors on a particular date.  He can book a specific time for a particular date which will be also shown inpatient dashboard later. The patient dashboard also shows whether he has visited to doctor or not. If yes, he will see the medicine prescribed by the doctor on his dashboard. He can also update his profile.

Admin can create and update the doctor's information. Admin can filter the patients and see who has booked an appointment on a particular date. He can toggle the status of the patient as visited/not visited. Admin can create departments and update and delete them. As an admin, he can get the information about the system on his dashboard. The information such as how many doctors are working in his clinic? how patients have made an appointment? How many departments are in the clinic? etc.

As a doctor, he can create an appointment time for a particular date. Each time slot is in the difference of 20min ie: patients can book an appointment with a doctor for a max 20min. He can update the time slot as well.

He can check how many patients have made an appointment on a particular date by filtering through the date. Finally, he can prescribe medicine to patients.

The course was wonderfully engaging, and I truly enjoyed following it from start to finish! I learned a great deal. One suggestion for improvement would be to include more information on Vue.js and Ajax, as this would help in fine-tuning requests more easily. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

Yes, this was a perfect match for me. The instructor is great at connecting the functions and defining them for me to understand the why and how they connect and work. Thank you!

At the end of the course you will have full stack application which works and has lots of functionality. You will also have a solid understanding of Laravel.

Its a good one for me as I am preparing the application similar for a client. Only concern the voice level of the instructor. It is not audible at all.

I’ve amended my original review from 1.5 stars where I feel I was now a bit harsh and put this up to a 3.5 star review due to taking another course and now understanding more about what the instructor is trying to achieve in his teachings. I can’t recommend this course to a complete beginner as I feel you will get lost in his style of teaching just like I originally did, however knowing more about laravel and coming back to this course it actually holds a lot of value in the project work even if slightly under structured sac course, so yes if you do know a fair bit of laravel then this course is fairly decent. The instructors native language is clearly not English so be prepared to rewind and listen again to many parts but this is not his fault at all. Over all of you are looking at making a project in laravel and want to see how someone else builds one this is a fair course but please don’t come at it with no real prior knowledge or you may end up frustrated. I still don’t enjoy taking an already made theme template and cobbling a ui together from it id much prefer the tutor to code these as part of the course. There’s lots of good and a little bit of bad but if you get the course at a good price it’s worth a purchase.

This guy is fantastic teacher, so enthusiastic. Teaching how to create real web applications, using cool libraries, features, also it looks so easy when I watching him how he doing it. I watched only half of lectures and I can't wait to learn everything what he telling in his lectures and use it in my projects

This is a great course for everyone who wants to master laravel. The explanation by the trainer is comprehensive and step by step. As a intermediate level developer I was always wondering how to make real world applications. I am in just section 3, but I am enjoying this course so much as it is practical course. Thanks for this course!
