I'm seeing parameters of which I was unaware. It's clear that to maintain an advantageous profile the data needs to succinct and regularly updated. On a personal level I abhor the concept of social media, but if I needed it LinkedIn is at the sane end of the spectrum

Learning so much from this course. I have watched several videos regarding optimizing a LinkedIn profile, but what is outlined in this course goes into many of the whys when optimizing a Linkedin profile. I found the tips strategic and can't wait to redo my profile and see what happens. This course answered a lot of my questions and now I feel more confident about changing and updating things on my LinkedIn. Like all of the FrameworkTV instructors, this instructor really made each lesson attainable for anyone.

This course provides an overview of how to expand your LinkedIn profile. The best person to take this course will already have a LinkedIn profile that is under developed and has a desire to spend a couple days to expand that profile. This course is a great step-by-step guide to continue growing your profile. I've used LinkedIn for quite awhile, but my take is that this course will help you move your profile from 10 or 20 percent complete to 70 or 80 percent complete. That being said, even having used LinkedIn for awhile, I did learn about some new features, such as the Cover Story Video.

LinkedIn is often your best shop window to describe and promote yourself. The presenter gives a clear and lucid introduction to original and revised versions of LinkedIn. The pace of presentation is ideal, particularly if you are (relatively) new to using LinkedIn and want to expand on all its options.

Sandra does a great job on breaking down the different sections of LinkedIn. Each section she gives recommendations for what should be present. This course is a great step by step process of building a solid LinkedIn profile. In today's market a great profile is required for most non-entry level positions. Highly recommend using this course to level up your job searching process.

Speaker and presenter is great with great pace. Subject not too good. Need a much better table of contents with bullet points showing what is within each video and maybe even better with time notations so one can go straight to a subject. In addition could not find the PDFs that were supposed to be a part of this. Finally, preferring to be polite, we will just say we despise Linkedin; especially after a number changes on a practical level that have been made the last 6-9 years, let alone being another source of MS data gathering and control over people.

My perspective on LinkedIn profiles has changed. Sandra takes you from a beginner to an expert in utilizing LinkedIn as a tool for presenting oneself to clients and potential employers (even to those you currently work for). She starts with the basics but quickly eases you into more complex topics and considerations such as viewing profiles, making changes (along with what changes to make) and superuser settings that will allow you to customize your profile for maximum effect. If you take your appearance online serious and are using LinkedIn to reach either clients, employers (or potential businesses), I strongly recommend this course.

When I began the course I was glued! Sandra Long not only teaches Linkedin profile creation but she dissects the platform. Every intricate part of Linkedin is broken down into short videos. Delivering great detail in a professional well-spoken manner. One final thought Sandra uses the term "best practices" instead of "I like to do it this way." I enjoy learning best practices in industry instead of opinionated speak. It gives me the confidence that I am learning the right way to build a Linkedin profile from an instructor's experience.
