Throughout my life, I have always been a lifestyle medicine enthusiast, consistently choosing the best functional solutions to life's issues and not cutting corners. This Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine has given me the opportunity to apply the six pillars of lifestyle medicine in my daily life. I make better food choices now, incorporating whole-food plant-based nutrition daily. I remember in one of the topics, when I was learning about Central Obesity, I had to run from my desk, grab my tape measure, and measure the circumference of my waist to see if it was lower than 35 inches. And I felt good doing this. So diet, physical activity, stress management, and love are the way to go when it comes to overall health/preventing and curing chronic diseases and this is really insightful.
