Master Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve (Udemy.com)

At the beginning of the course, I was thinking, “Hmm… just another color grading course, with nothing much happening.” But as I went deeper into the lessons, I was pleasantly surprised to come across a couple of valuable, industry-relevant color grading techniques that I had been looking for but couldn’t find elsewhere. The course goes beyond the usual basics and offers some genuinely useful insights that can make a real difference in how you approach color grading. In my opinion, this is definitely a course worth having for anyone serious about developing their skills as a color grader. That said, I wouldn’t necessarily call it beginner-friendly. I would recommend having at least a basic understanding of color grading before taking this course. With that foundation, you’ll be able to understand, absorb, and apply much more of what the course has to offer. Overall, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to take their color grading knowledge and skills to the next level.

it genuinely cleared up a lot of concepts that I had been struggling with for a while. The explanations around Layer Mixers, Parallel Nodes, and especially the Color Warper were extremely practical and easy to understand. I finally feel like I have much more control over my grading workflow. I’ll definitely be using many of these workflows in both my personal films and professional work going forward. Highly recommended for anyone looking to seriously improve their grading in DaVinci Resolve.

Straight to the point, very clear (She speaks great english), the path she speaks its great! And very easy to understand!! Absolutely loved the course, and i learned so much in such a brief period of time, I also love how everything is compacted and the course is not 50 hours of nothing!! Great job with it, highly recommended! Also the material she provides is great quality, working with different materials from difference sources do make a difference

This course is great if you're a beginner or just someone who watched a bunch of YouTube tutorials without finding a real method of color grading (even if there's no "standard method" after all). The explanations are very clear and not too long, even though I think that some parts could be deepened. Maybe the real problem with this course is the management of the resources. Some clips are not the same showed in the course, fortunately you can compensate with the extra clips for practices, but later on, in the lessons, some of them are not available at all because you need the permissions to download them. And, most important, some of them are too heavy (in the first lesson, I spend like a day and half to download all the folders). Despite all, this course is good and if you're approaching to color grading or you're just "ignorant" about the use of certain tools, you should try it. My compliments to the teacher!

Good course to learn the most important things about color grading in a short time.

This course was great. Really learnt a lot about colouring and how to achieve different looks properly. Not only did I find out about different looks, I understand why certain colours are chosen, why we make certain choices in colouring and much more. I was able to build my skill and understanding here. Highly recommend.

Lessons in the course are well phased and offer useful knowledge on color management in Module 2 and a few different looks in Module 4. A bit short and generic for my taste as I was expecting a little more depth and options for the color grading part of the course, but quite some time is spend on the "primary adjustments" in each of the video and it gets repetitive. A thing that most people will find annoying is that the footage is uploaded to Google Drive and it is not archived, so downloading it does won't retain the folder structure which then requires some time spent to sort everything out. But a positive in this still exists and it is that a lot of different and quality footage is offered so you can spend some time on your own to explore shots from different cameras as I will be doing outside of the course. 3.8/5 would be my more accurate rating.

It'a really helps me a lot to learn something from basic to a something more upgraded level. As person who always use premiere pro, this course absolutely gave me another level of knowledge and experience! Thank you so much.

The prep for the lesson (establishing the timeline to be worked) was not worked through and thus I had to manually search, discover and set up the timelines. I'm not afraid to do the extra work, but it would be either helpful to have the timelines ready for use or have it stated that the manual establishment of timelines will be required.

I am very thankful to see this on Udemy at this price. The course layout is perfect for learning. Lots can be found on YouTube scattered in short how-to clips but this gives a better understanding of why you are doing something vs following a click here and here to get this type of video. There are a few ways of getting a result with Resolve and this course takes you through them while explaining the subtle difference between them. I finished this course more confident in navigating the color page.
