Master DaVinci Resolve 20: Pro Video Editing [updated 2025] (Udemy.com)

The course was good. At times the presenter was going too fast and I had to slow down the video to make sure I caught everything. Also, the presenter should have used a cursor highlighter and/or made the cursor larger to make sure that what was being clicked on / pointed at was clear. Lastly, there were times when the instructor seemed to assume that the learner knew how to navigate to the function being discussed. Oh, and one more thing. In the last lecture, on uploading, the instructor did not cover how to add the required copyright information to the upload.

This video tutorial was absolutely fantastic! I finally learned what other similar courses struggled to teach, especially when it comes to colour correction and grading. The explanations were clear, practical, and easy to follow, making a huge difference in my understanding. I feel much more confident now and can’t wait to start applying these techniques to my own videos. Thanks a lot for the insightful guidance!

Great course! I shot something really badly because I was just testing something and the content in the video turned out so well that I wanted to rescue the shot with some color correction and light editing. This course did the trick. I already have an extensive post production background so this was specifically about the tools of DaVinci for me, but I think this would be great for beginners looking to get into commercials or music videos (not as much for movies, because the editing is a bit different when you have actors talking). Overall, great job!

It was a decent crash course. It was worth my time, but it just left me realizing I have a lot more to learn. Probably a longer course taking more time to explain things would have been more helpful for me, but this was really a good place to start. I think that is really what this quick course was designed to do - just to show basic functionality of what exists so that one could delve deeper into those subjects later. Good job.

Liked the course and learned a few things. Bing that DaVinici Resolve is available in Windows and Mac, it would have been nice to include the shortcuts for both environments. It was clear the instructor was familiar with Windows, so most of the time, the shortcuts discussed were for the OS he used, not to say that sometimes the Mac shortcuts were splashed on the screen here and there. It would have also been nice to have had a section for the Edit with Me with more content and follow-along content. Other than that, it is an excellent introduction to DaVinci Resolve.

Amazing I am so happy that I buy it. There is only one small problem in some parts of lectures there is no audio from Alex but nothing crazy. And I think this course could be longer, what I mean by that is that Alex has so much knowledge that I have feal he sometimes speeds up some parts of lectures. I give 4,5* for this course because it needs some fixes, but it helped me a lot, and I hope it will help you if you are a beginner or you come from other platforms. Buy it you won't regret it! Alex thank you for this course :)
