Puria Izady

I'm Puria Izady former AWS Solutions Architect, co-founder of cocoduro the Agentic AI for groceries, and the guy behind Pumping Code helping engineers & architects worldwide to become leaders in AI. Over 8,000 students from 110+ countries have learned about Generative AI & AWS Cloud through Pumping Code.

I've spent my career inside the machine: modernizing core banking systems at ING, then advising software vendors across the EMEA region at AWS as one of its go-to experts on Generative AI and ML. In early 2026 I left to build full-time. Today as a Co-Founder of cocoduro, I'm shipping AI agents into real production grocery ordering with Germany's biggest retailers which means what I teach has already survived contact with a live system, not just a demo notebook.

But that's only half of it. By night and very early mornings I'm on a mission to prove you can be a leader in AI and Cloud. From running my own online gaming server as a teenager to shipping agentic systems today, I've learned the principles of growth apply equally to coding, cloud architecture, and bodybuilding: show up, add load, stay consistent.

If you're here to actually build something, you're in the right place. Join me and let's build the future!

Excellent Explanations, but if there is a possibility to give example i.e. How the Tool registration process works. if we have 100 ECS containers , containing 20 tools per container then how the agents send the req to which MCP server. I found this interesting when sorted these queries from chatgpt and got my response. If possible to include these kind of questions in final conversation, would be really great.

It's a great course and I will recommend it to anyone. The instructor is very knowledgeable on the topic. A little concern I have is that ,the instructor blur out the screen in some videos due to privacy/security reasons which is reasonable. A newbie or fresher on AWS might be lost/struggle to catch-up. Him using a new dedicated AWS training account would have help.

Great course. However I would like one that, while takes the learning path from A - Z using notebooks, in the end it ends up with a fully functional agent that can be executed not only from a notebook. For example an agent that has some API as well as some UI (i.e. gradio) and is deployed in AWS. One important missing topic is, how to expose a AC Agent as an API especially for streaming/ws responses.

This course gives one of the best AWS Bedrock AgentCore that I’ve seen. The instructor has real hands on experience, and he explains things in a way that makes it easier to understand. The examples are practical, and he walks through the architecture in a way that actually makes sense for real projects. The course covers all the main parts of AgentCore with good explanations and solid demos. The pace is smooth, the content is rich, and it opened up a lot of new ideas for how I can build and deploy agents on AWS. Great job overall.

I really appreciate the bases of setting up an agent and deploying it with agentCore. I think there are a few key points missing, or at least the ones that I was looking forward. 1. Setting up interactions within the AWS ecosystem - allowing the agent to access/ interact with our resources (s3 , rds, etc.) - I guess it was only quickly mentioned "smithy" 2. The observability section needs content. We did not get to see how to configure the logs, traces, etc. So far, I give out a 3.5. But I will definitely change my rating if the course gets updated. - also considering adding a "full clean up" section. Other than this, keep it up! really good! -------- 30.08.2026-------- I saw the course got updated, Might still be missing a "harness" section - will update my review after that. Other than this, really good!

Great course for getting hands on with Amazon BedRock AgentCore. The instructor does not spoon feed. He goes at a brisk pace and covers good ground pretty fast. I liked that! The iPython notebook 05 dealing with OAuth identity did not work correctly for me. But the other notebooks were all good.

I would rather seeing the instructor taking time to develop the material presented in each lab. This would likely add an additional half an hour per lab but totally worth it. Overall this course was at the right level assuming that you have background in python and some understanding of how AWS works specially with navigating around in the AWS console and the IAM related concept. The course covers most key building blocks of building and deploying agents using AgentCore. It also uses Boto3 to deploy the required AWS resources specifically setting some IAM roles and creating users using Cognito. I have built and shipped production ML solutions on AWS and still learned a lot with this course. With a tiny bit of improvement on the hands-on sections, this can be an easy 5 star. Suggestion: take the AWS part of the labs and instead put them in Terraform. Maybe can add a new section (section 8) on showing how this whole process can be automated using Terraform. Perhaps an additional 2 hour material on taking this to the next level by polishing it for production deployment using Terraform. This will make things very complete. Even include provisioning Bedrock LLM using TF. Loved the course. 4 / 5 with 1 point room for the kind of improvement I suggested.

Amazing course! The content is easy to understand and very well structured. Instructions are clear and concise. The course not only covers the theory of Agent development but also dives deeper into production usecases and developer best practices. The hands-on labs are extremely useful for developers to start Agentic-AI development from scratch on AWS.

excellent and very well-structured course. It goes far beyond theory and focuses on what really matters: building production-ready, scalable, and secure AI agents with Amazon Bedrock. Puria explains complex concepts in a clear and practical way, with real-world examples that make it easy to follow and immediately apply. The course bridges the critical gap between experimentation and real deployment, covering architecture, best practices, and common pitfalls that are often missing in other courses. What I especially appreciated is the hands-on, engineering-focused approach and the depth of knowledge the instructor brings from real industry experience. If you’re serious about moving LLM and agent-based solutions from PoC to production on AWS, this course is a must-have. Highly recommended for developers, architects, and anyone working with Amazon Bedrock and AI agents.

This is the best training about agents that I've ever done. Puria is a great coach. He's really an icon in the cloud and AI world. What I do want to highlight is that in this course, I not only understood Amazon Bedrock agent core so much better and actually understand how to build with it, but also I really learned about the foundations of agents and the nuances how to build great agentic systems. So thanks a lot Puria. This was really a strong training.
