I enjoyed this course quite a bit. I'd definitely recommend it to a newbie or even someone more advanced. My only suggestion would be: "In the next course possibly offering and connecting more show to the tell." It showed examples. But, for someone completely new this would be a little cumbersome. Because it wasn't as hands-on as I thought.

I have hired and read many resumes over my years. This course is very well presented. It shows clearly the structure and reasoning behind each section of the resume. I learned much I didn't know about writing resumes. I highly recommend this course for anyone needing to create or refresh their resume.

I have not written a resume in maybe 10 years. This tutorial was able to get me up to speed about what should go on my resume and what shouldn't. It also included examples which have helped me get my Resume up to speed.

Great class for setting up your resume and cover letter. The material looks all the assorted details that you should keep in mind and how to properly set them up to give your potential future employer a reason to call you in for an interview.

A very complete and easy to follow tutorial complete with videos, transcripts, and master resume example. The instructor gave various examples and was easy to understand. Definitely a tutorial that every professional should take.

For the beginner writer of a resume, this is very good information. It goes over things that should and should not be put into a resume. Even though I have written simple resumes before in my past, getting through these lectures have helped me realize where I need to correct my resume.

This course provides an good refresher on resume writing that you can complete in about an hour. It also contains information that is excellent for those just starting out in the job market with regards to exactly what a resume "is" and how to produce effective resumes. However, be cautioned that not all the suggestions for resume prep in this course work. Making "customized" resumes can, in fact, get you into problems if you have too many or don't keep track of the version of your resume you submitted for a specific job.

The information is useful and fairly comprehensive. The presentation is not very dynamic; no video, just a voice that lacks any semblance of passion or emotion. I know the subject is basic and fairly dry by nature, but it CAN be made more engaging.
By WINGYAN YEUNG on 12/19/2013
The course has covered some useful topics, but most of them are common sense. Also, some topics are only applicable to people in US. So people from other countries may not be able to benefit from them.
By Lee Marks on 11/10/2013
The information that was provided was pretty decent, but a lot of the material referenced, especially the sample resume which is continually referred to, is nowhere to be found. People have asked questions about this, and no one has answered them, so they obviously do not monitor their course.
