This course was a very good refresher. I have found the most value out of Pivot Table section. James presents the course in a calm manner, with clear explanations in byte size pieces that are easy to review a few times if required. I will definitely look out for more of his courses.

Great. This is helpful in hand as it offers basic knowledge on excel. One should keep practising the notes learned from this presentation to avail its benefits to the fullest. However there is an issue to be noted, the tasks given are complicate a bit and zoomed out in smaller size. Also at certain instances, there is speedy typing of formula. Please watch out particularly when you come across topic on "Iferror" statement.

The presenter obviously knows Excel very well, but presented at the pace of someone who knows it very well. I often kept having to rewatch and pause videos just to keep up. By the time I'd finished doing what I was doing, looking back to the video screen, he was 3 steps ahead. Very informative though, and I got there in the end!

Just finished the course in span of 2 weeks. I consider myself as a beginner in Excel. As an aspiring Product Manager, I took this course in order to learn and understand more of data analytics method using Excel. For me personally, this course is phenomenal!. I learn a lot of things that I wouldn't normally be able to understand myself, especially the Formulas and common Errors in Excel. I love how the way he explain things in concise manner, the course is pretty challenging for me. But I managed to complete it. As for my recommendations for next Excel content. I would like to learn how to gather, clean and visualize my data trough Excel. Along with practice material and project. Thank you very much for the lessons!

This is exactly what I am looking for. The instructor is eloquent and the presentation is excellent for learning. I like that I can pause the video and examine more closely what was done in the tutorial so that I can better learn as opposed to a typical class packed into a specific time frame. Thanks.

I loved this course! It was a great refresher for me. There were a few times I had to research outside of the course due to having an older version of excel and using a mac as well. The Mac shortcuts are different and the version of excel is quite different.

it was a great experience for me i was imagine that i knew a lot but i realized that i missed a lot of details thank you very much it was great simple teaching i am looking for more advanced in excel

By Laura Skipper on 10/22/2019

spreadsheet had mentioned one thing and instructor mentioned different, however I was following intently, and knew what he was talking about. Excellent intermediate/advanced functions I was looking for and was explained very well. Slow down a bit with each example. Pause works wonders in this case, but maybe slow down slightly during explaining/showing steps. Best course found so far for what I needed to refresh/learn proper techniques to use versus manually formatting options.

It was a really great course. The instructor's 'fast' pace was just right, and it helped me think on my feet (had to pause the video sometimes though =D). He didn't drag out his explanations or talk down to us as if we've never used a computer before. Thanks James, I wish I could pay you for this course. Please do some more in the future and make them paid!
