I took this course thinking it was geared towards people working in Project Management, with PMI knowledge, who are looking for how to apply Excel as a Tool in their project management. I found a lot of high level discussion on PMI terminology and topics, and lot of super basic Excel stuff, then when we get to topics like analysis, dashboard creation, report generation etc., the lecture was quick and high level. I just found that the time spent on Practical Application of Excel was far less than the time spent discussing PMI information and very basic Excel uses.
All of the instruction was to lead to building a custom dashboard for your projects. But we never actually talk about it! We learn all of the pieces, but not any guidance on what to put in or how to put together a dashboard. As soon as we talk about the last exercise, we shift gears and start talkin about a Risk Register.
The speedometer is a helpful thing to have learned, as was the camera feature.

This is an easy and very practical course. Lots of hands-on practices are packed into 5 hours of instructions. The included examples are very helpful for practice before we use the learned knowledge for our own projects!

Course should be named Basic Graph Formatting. 4h of basic formatting and 30 mins of excel use in PM. Would not recommend.

It is a very basic training, It doesnt really get in depth about excel features for project management and most of it focuses on really basic things that any excel training could teach you. Examples for PM are rare.
