Microsoft Excel - VBA (Udemy.com)

The description is somewhat misleading. I thought that this was going to be an add-on to the previous course that I took that was offered by Mark Talbert; however, this is very repetitive information that is being presented.

There was no file to import. There was no raw data to enable the data cleaning macro so it threw off the original macro. Made it tougher to follow. Also, you should provide the original sheet that the instructor is using and the completed one so that we can follow along and update as the instructor is doing.

The instruction of the material was great, but could be improved by increasing the responsiveness. Nobody has yet respond to a query that was posted a year ago for the text file, for us to follow the course.

This was a really good class. It started out easy, no stress, to make sure everyone had a good background. And then it went on to do some really amazing things. I learned a lot. I gave it 4.5 stars because it would have been helpful to have exercises to complete to practice the new techniques, with sample data that was provided. I found I was typing in a lot of data in order to follow along with the lesson.

I want to preface this by saying that I just started the course. As for my first hour I am finding it a little difficult to follow the instructors learning objectives for the module. It seems we a shallow diving a lot of different topics and I'm not able to notice a overarching lesson or objective. It may be useful to include what the intended lesson of the lecture/module is so students can be aware of what is supposed to be imparted on them.

I think the volume is set too low, I am using a Laptop, and I set the Computer's Volume to High and the Volume of the video to high. Thank you for making a step by step instructions on this topic.

The content was really good. I learned a number of concepts. I was very interested in Section 7 where the instructor showed automation examples that controlled Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Access. The production and audio quality were great. The instructor's pace was a little bit slow in some videos but overall the pace was good. I would take another course by this instructor.

I need to learn VBA, but this course moves at such a slow pace, my time is probably better spent googling things. The overall content of the course is good, just slow. There is no hands on experience in this course. The instructor speaks quietly, and is difficult to understand if I only listen and don't watch.

Even if I already new the basics of VBA programming like how to run a macros and how to create a form. I still picked up a lot of tips and tricks. The lectures are very clear an easy to follow. The lecturer has a very engaging manner of speech. I recommend to everyone who wants to improve upon their excel and Excel VBA skills. I wouldn't have learnt half of it by doing it on my own. Thanks! P.S. I would love to see a more detailed course on automation. Looking forward to it!

The lecturer takes you from 0 to 100 in a very nice manner. I was able to carry out a tool based on Excel and later on linked it with Access data base. I won't be able to do it unless for this tutorial.
