Thanks I love the gentle pace of the narrator. Plus there is an affinity as I went to the same law school perhaps 10 years earlier thanks again

Very good course and great fundamentals of mind mapping. The teacher has not answered any Q&A questions at all. therefore one star minus

too much intro...get to the point.

By Geraldine Wee Lin Tan on 10/17/2020

I want to learn mind mapping for work/business reasons. So while the lessons teaches good mind map basics, it is essentially centered for students, and how mind mapping will help with study. Would prefer if I can learn how to apply mind mapping efficiently for a work perspective.

It's a wonderful introduction to mind maps, someplace to get started. Gives you a launching platform of sorts from where we can go on to advanced concepts elsewhere if we choose to. Not for people looking for advanced nitty gritty of mind maps. For absolute beginners.

Great course for starting out.

Key concepts that were difficult to understand from the books were explained well in this course. For example, how to find the keywords from paragraphs and ways to do it, how to order those keywords, and why mind mapping is better for information collection than traditional note taking. I think "memory" maps was touched upon, but the instructor didn't go into the differences between memory maps and standard mind maps. Flash maps were mentioned at the end and I think these are summary maps of entire courses, but a little more information would have been nice. It also would have been nice to have an example or two of mind mapping during a lecture. I think that's harder since there's nothing written that one can refer back to.
