Please note: This course is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft.
This course has been created using Udemy's Accessibility guidelines.
In this MO-210 course:
We’ll start with create and manage worksheets and workbooks. We’ll import data into workbooks, navigate and format workbooks, and prepare them for collaboration and distribution.
We’ll then look at managing data cells and ranges and create tables. We’ll insert data into and format workbooks, summarise and organize data, manage table styles and options, and filter and sort table data.
We’ll then perform operations with Excel formulas and functions. We’ll use functions for summarising data, performing conditional operations, formatting and modifying text, sorting and generating numeric data.
Finally, we’ll look at creating charts and sparklines. We’ll use different chart types, such as line, bar, area and pie charts, we’ll add legends and apply layouts and styles, and insert sparklines.
No prior knowledge is required. And there are 15 Practice Activities, 15 quizzes and a Practice Test to help you remember the information, so you can be sure that you are learning.
Once you have completed this course, you will have an expanded knowledge of Microsoft Excel. With some practice, you could even take the official Microsoft MO-210 exam, which gives you the "Microsoft Office Specialist: Excel Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps)" certificate. This would look good on your CV or resume.
It is also the first stage to you getting the "Microsoft Office Specialist: Associate (Microsoft 365 Apps)" certification.

Brilliant course. The instructor is super brilliant and easy to follow. Deserves a 4 or 5 in his own, I however note that there is too much on screen making fonts too small even on a 75 inch TV. I suspect recorded with a decdnt screen aize. This makes following call by call difficult. If this will be revised in future reducing whats on screen so it's more eye friendly will be great. Considering most people will use tablet or standard screen size this is challenging.

Excellent instructor! This course was easy to follow and paced well for me. I have some experience with Excel but this definitely taught me plenty I didn't know or didn't know as well as I thought I did. Soon I should be taking and passing the MO-210 certification.

Great instructor! Extremely easy to follow and for us "older" individuals that missed a step in not using excel for a while you did an amazing job! Truly wish ALL instructors did this. Thank you for the great instruction!

If you have a limited knowledge of Excel to start, then this course is perfect. However if you have a moderate level of experience there are a lot of topics that you wont gain anything from. However overall for preparation for the certification its great because of the way it covers all the required topics and gives some helpful pointers and refreshes your knowledge.

As a long time Excel user, there were still some tips, tricks, and bits of information that were new to me and that I need to review/work with. The material is comprehensive, well structured, and clearly delivered. Practice exercises are useful, as was the "final test". I would certainly recommend this as an option for people who are new to Excel. It might be elementary for experienced users who are NOT planning on/preparing for the MO-210 exam.

Dryer than the desert sand, but gets the job done. Giving it a fair review regardless of how I do on my exam. Would not recommend to anyone looking to get faster at Excel, extremely tedious menu navigation.

I wish school was this easy. I learned more with this short course than I did with a college given course on excel to be proficient, not advanced or expert, but this taught me tons and I retained it all easily.

Very clear and methodical lessons. Even listening at a speed of x2.0 I managed to learn everything and some new tips I wasn't aware of. Definitely worth my time!

Really good course covering all the basics. I've been using excel for sometime and have a good grasp on it but there were things I learnt from this course too, which is great! Phil's a great teacher and goes in to just enough detail to grasp the concepts. I also like the end of section tests and practice activities. I think now I will try the official Microsoft training projects. I won't be sitting the MO210 exam though, I'll likely move to the intermediate level course next and sit that exam instead when I'm ready - I've also bought Phil's course for this too and can't wait to get started.
