Many people have a deep understanding of the topic, but to be able to explain it to others is a different skill. Some key points: 1. The constant diagrams and configs along with explanation are wonderful, keep the student engaged and help in better understanding 2. Saying "its just so easy" every time he configs/explains a concept, takes the fear out of the topic/course Overall, an amazing teacher!

In the intro video, some key principles of BGP were discussed. One that most people misunderstands is BGP is technically a TCP-based application like SSH and not a routing protocol. BGP does not provide it's own transport like EIGRP or OSPF, but instead relies on TCP for transport, and IGP for route recursion/routing.
