Course Description
* NEW CONTENT EVERY WEEK!!!
.NET MAUI is Microsoft's powerful framework for creating cross-platform applications, that is, applications for Android, iOS, Windows and MacOS, creating the code only once, and being able to deploy it on multiple platforms. Moreover, it is the evolution of Xamarin, which means that the team behind .NET MAUI has taken all the experiences over several years, to develop from scratch this new framework.
I have created this .NET MAUI course to teach you how to use the framework to create your own cross-platform applications, teaching you throughout the course how to use the different components of the framework to create these applications.
Throughout this course, we will create a series of applications that will allow you to put into practice everything you have learned, so that you will know how to implement the different features in real cases, while you will have several applications that you can put in your portfolio.
As more controls and nuget packages are updated, the course will be updated so that you always have the best information available.
Among the main topics that we will address in the course are:
.NET MAUI components
Framework features
Use of controls to create graphical interfaces
Customization of controls
Use of local databases
Using REST services
Among many other topics
Evolve your learning and learn today about this fabulous and new framework. See you in the course.

This is a good, relatively comprehensive course. The presenter starts with basics and builds on. They show (or kept) common errors and mistakes and how to quickly resolve them. On occasion I did not entirely agree with design choices made, but that didn't detract from the course. The only thing missing is really leveraging the inherent cross platform nature of .NET MAUI, it would have been nice to see more of the presented features demonstrated in multiple target environments to highlight key differences, but I understand that could be on the student to try it themselves as they follow along in order to keep the course a bit more streamlined.

Content is really great. Easy to understand as a beginner as well. The explanation is pretty good. One thing I would like to have would be a document for the steps and procedures and probably a cheat sheet for all the course contents. This would help a lot of beginners to access the ideas faster when developing.

Very good explanation of the process to build an app but needs to be updated to more recent .net platform. Also, the course concentrates on building moble apps only and doesn't really go into building apps that work on desktop and mobile. Another area that needs improvement is showing how to retrieve real data in various ways. Most of the examples just used mocked data.

Very good in general. As an Xamarin developer, I prefer the Windows environment deployment. This approach allow us to see the controls behavior when resizing the app window, like a simulation of different screen sizes of Android devices. In Debug mode, if VS is not maximized and we can also see the app window in the screen, we can see the changes made in the XAML file in real time. We can even open the DB that the app is using, to see the changes made by the app. Finally, I think the advantages of HotReload should be more explicit during the course.

Good course to learn the basics of C# and .NET MAUI and MVVM. Thanks to it I was able to develop my first .NET MAUI App (beyond the projects in the course). It was sometimes hard to follow the teacher because he is fast, but i ended up learning, so that was the target. It needs to be updated on some fields (like deploying, publishing) for sure and I received an email about a new course taught by this same teacher and another one, so I was a bit disappointed I actually got this one when there was a new one in coming. Overall a good course for beginners.

Great course! I like the structure of the course, many different apps that shows different topics. I like when the instructor make "mistakes" just for showing why somethings goes wrong and he fix it. Its greate he show the full app in the begining and he first creates layout and then the code behinde.

Great course for people trying to get from nothing to something with .NET MAUI as overall this course does covers lot of great concepts; I would love to rate this course 5 but rating it 3.5 due to the following points: 1. This course keeps certain important topics untouched like generating offline installers, Publishing & Deploying solution to each Platform 2. No prompt response from Instructor on raised query (I raised a request to Instructor to cover\add to this course point no. 1 but received no response. Said the above, beginners should take this course but people looking for end to end knowledge on how to publish and deploy this solution, should re-check this course's updated content (if it covers the same) or look for alternative for publish & deploy related solution Thank you to the instructor for taking out time and developing a great and highly informative course I would change my rating to 5 if this course in future does cover my requested point # 1 i.e. generating the offline installer, publish and deploy to all available platforms.

I've searching for a good Course on .NET MAUI and finally found it. If you are looking to learn .NET MAUI, this is the right one! P.S. I wish it could have more sections for ex: 1. Using Shell Navigation 2. More rest API projects Etc..

Great course. I like how he makes the effort to dive deeper into the .Net Maui concepts and doesn't just 'touch the surface',but also make the practical apps which was very useful for the learning phase and same for clearing your .Net Maui Concept, like some other courses don't do here on Udemy. That being said, one suggestion for possible future additions would be to add a section on MVVM Pattern and also the down Tabbed and Menu options, which I think is a very important part of development. Which the Instructor can think of making on same course or else they can brings all the concepts in New Course , A mention of external Template add on and some of Maui Desktop apps Creation pattern wouldn't hurt either...
