I had attempted to learn GIS in the past, and it felt like I was being taught in a language entirely different from my own. I told myself GIS probably has its own language I have to learn first, but with this training, I am so confident that I understand what QGIS is and can do some exercises on my own. I previously attempted to learn GIS, and it felt like I was being taught in a completely different language. I then assumed that GIS has its own terminology that I needed to master. However, after completing this training, I am now confident in my understanding of QGIS and feel fully equipped to tackle exercises independently. Thank you!Thank you

Instructor Bio
Through his work on tropical conservation expeditions since 2006, Oliver saw GIS to be a perfect opportunity to tie together his interests in conservation and all things map. With a background in environmental science, a masters in environment and enterprise and a post grad diploma in GIS, the launch of burdGIS was a natural
progression.
burdGIS have now worked in several countries worldwide on projects ranging from on the ground data capture in Honduras to Android app development in Northern Ireland. At the core of burdGIS is a desire and enthusiasm to share knowledge and ideas through training and collaboration.
