pretty good class there were some points where he was explaining things such as the log stream where in the later iterations of scenarios he was just saying was happening where in earlier iterations he was drawing and saying. I just believe for people who are new to these concepts the repetition of the verbal as well as the visual is useful to getting it into the human memory

some chapters are great, but some are not. there are a lack of video class missing.

This is my second course with David Haas. I think he does a great job explaining concepts and than provides examples for the concept. Speaks concisely and clearly.

As with the first course, this one has good examples and interesting set up to demonstrate the various points that Dave wants to make. More time is spent on taking the backup and relatively less on the restore. For me, this topic - though vitally important - is inherently dry. Dave does a good job of keeping things moving. I see that the third course includes sections on RMAN scripting and the scheduler, which were two topics that popped into my mind during this course.

Very straight-forward in the presentation. He presents the information in a logical manner. I also like it that he gives lessons from his experience.

Again in this second part some videos lost sequence, Dave says he will continue with some example and next video is totally different, Other than that course is excellent!
