To the guy who gave a negative review because "it's LAN only", everything you've learned here applies over the internet. You either have to configure your router to port forward connections to your system or you could spin up a VM on [insert your favorite cloud provider] and use that as your C2. You also mentioned having to turn off your antivirus/firewall... EVEN if the instructor had taught us his method for evading AV, by the time you purchased the course(2 years later), it would surely have been detected by now. If you want to avoid AV, you gotta do recon on your target and see what security software they use. Run that same software on your homelab and modify the payloads until they aren't detected. Profit. The instructor does a fantastic job covering the major usages of Empire. From initial foothold to lateral movement, this course has got it all. The instructors voice is clear and concise. The videos are short but extremely informative. It's really surprising how much information was squeezed into a 2 hour window, even more so is doing it in such a way where it doesn't feel like the information is spewing out of a fire hose. It just flows and the videos are short enough to keep you engaged. This course is taught my a SANS instructor where people are paying $7,000 to hear this man speak for a week. Here you get lifetime access at a HUGE discount. Not only does Michael(GSE) know his stuff, he also knows how to teach it. 10/10 would recommend. My one complaint, I would have liked to see a section on building an AD lab to practice some of the other lateral movement modules.

Though it was short course but it was fun. Quite a few Empire modules were covered which have real world applications. A few more lab exercises would have been good. But overall a good course for a beginner in Empire. The instructor was very responsive to my queries and confident with his explanations throughout the course.

Very clear and concise. Good balance between getting to the point and avoiding unnecessary detail. I couldn't get through this quickly enough. The structure of the course makes improving one's skill set an atainable goal. I hope the author publishes more information in the same style.

This is a great course if you are just starting with PS Empire and already have a basic idea of how similar fameworks like Metasploit operate. The instructor was interesting and straight to the point, I just had to increase the video speed, because I already had some experience with most of the content. Great work dude!

A pretty good intro into PowerShell Empire. Teaches the basics and how to get started. It's a fun and quick way to get a handle on the subject. It doesn't go into detail on the 100s of modules or deal with real-world examples but that is partly due to the limitations of the virtual environment you setup to do the exercises. Overall I'm happy with it.

This is the first course I took which actually took this topic to a new level for me. I am a beginner in this field but I saw how dangerous these techniques are and how easy it could be for even a novice to hack a system. This was a very engaging topic and the instructor seems to be very knowledgeable about the topic. I also like the fact that the instructor went straight to show how to use the tool and not too much literature around. I have learned a lot and not only I will be recommending this course but I will also be patiently waiting to see something new from this instructor. Thank you very much for your time and the dedication you put into this course.

A very awesome introductory course on Empire/PowerShell penetration testing. I am in the middle of my OSCP studies and wanted have Empire as another option for post-exploitation engagements. This course brings you up to speed. It is very clear, concise, easy to follow, and the PDF lab manual is professionally done. Michael has done a great job and I look forward to viewing his future projects.

This course provided a good introduction to Powershell Empire. Mr. Long demonstrated how to connect a Powershell Empire agent post initial exploitation, escalate privileges, and move laterally. He explained a number of modules and sets up the student to do some individual deep dives into the full set of functions.

This is one of the best courses I have ever taken. Michael Long not only talks to the viewer in simple terms, explaining advanced topics in an easy to follow manner. But also removes the fluff many other instructors are famous for. Instead of 120 minutes of instruction that takes 6 hours to give because side stories and irrelevant topics are mentioned, Mr. Long sticks to the point and ensures that we fully understand the material given to us, every minute of this course is valuable to watch. This is refreshing to see and I hope many other instructors follow this lead. Whether you are new to Powershell or think you may be an expert, this course has a little something for everyone and is a valuable tool for any pen testers tool belt. This course gets my highest recommendation.
